Jacoby Brissett: Class Act

In light of the most recent accusation, have to laugh at the Browns potentially coming out of this with Jacoby being their best bet since they have no major draft capital after the Watson trade.

The Texans will also laugh their way to the bank if this means Watson is gone for a season or more as the Browns are probably a 6-7 win team with Brisset at the helm.

Does Vegas have an O/U on Watson games suspended? I'm pretty sure they are N/A on Browns' win total.

He was not good, just wasnt bad, no picks, hands the ball of well. I actually think Dobbs would be a better option, but I understand Brissett is well liked and a team leader, but still.

Did his job on the final drive which was nice to see… mostly avoided mistakes throughout the day.

Absolutely cannot punish offenses with a big throw and you’d have to imagine defenses start to gameplan around that similar to second half of last season by loading the box. It’s gonna be frustrating all season until he gives the keys back to Watson.

Plenty of good routes and nice balance to the offense was evident for when Watson does return… so that’s encouraging. And having a kicker that can make up for some of the passing game shortcomings is absolutely something we didn’t have last year.

Brissett made some NFL throws today. Problem is he missed some that would have put us up to a big lead early. It's hard to figure out exactly how to maximize his positives and minimize his negatives. but that is Stefanski's mission and purpose. hopefully he can be the Jacoby whisperer for these 11 games.

He was very bad (to watch), but I can see how dangerous this team will be with competent QB play.

Njoku didnt get a target (took a sack on the one i remembered)...Bell didnt get a target...Cooper was under- and overthrown on almost all his targets...
