My interpretation was he was saying if Jacoby plays like we expect Jacoby to play, we can be 9-2 going into Houston with DeShaun back.

Meaning 5-2 for this stretch, which seems very unlikely given- as things stand currently- we may only be favored vs New England.

I'd be shocked if we didn't win more than one of those 7 games... Besides the two you mention, the Bengals and Ravens are also very gettable, and for the others, this is the NFL, anything can happen.

I would agree but the style of play we will get from Brissett will makes us an incredibly unlucky team.

One stupid bounce is going to cause us a wild swing, with how unable we will be to erase deficits.

It took a roughing the passer penalty and converting a 58 yard FG for us to get points with over 1 minute left, at the Carolina 40.

There will be 1 or 2 games where we are just unable to overcome a bad bounce or break.

I was saying that I believe people are expecting more from Jacoby than what he is. I now see that the wording is a bit weird, heh.

I think if Jacoby is Jacoby then 6 games is very possible. 9 games if he significantly exceeds his own ability.

So you are saying if Jacoby was Watson, then 9 games, got it.

And i am not saying Watson is the better QB, i mean sure Watson is faster, more elusive, much stronger arm, more accurate and much better than reading the defense and a better decision maker with a quicker release, but Brissett is less creepy, so there is that, lol

That last pass was really unfortunate. For a second I thought he had his guy and we were looking at a FG to win it back. Hell of a lot better than last week. If he can keep up that level of play we can win some games (if our defense gets their head out of their assess).

Played great, that last pass is irrelevant to me. This was a 20+ point win with a defense that executes at a pee-wee level.
