How is Mobley ever going to eclipse and teach his full potential? You can’t pay a man the max and be ok with him averaging 15 the rest of his career
 
Cavs fans keep forgetting that injuries stood in Evan's way last season moreso than Allen. He missed 40% of the season and seemed to be getting back into playing shape for a lot of his regular season games. Nobody wants to point the finger at the franchise big, but Allen gets a ton of unwarranted shit lately.

Evan doesn't want to be a full-time center, and would have his growth stunted physically by getting his ass kicked every night without JA there. Also, team defense needs a rim protector so Evan can freelance on the wing.
 
Allen, in the right system, is an All star. Seems kind of silly, to me, to dump him. Especially when we currently have shit for perimeter defenders in the starting lineup. I believe a clever offensive minded coach would easily get a lot out of these two. Have to stop thinking like every other team and following trends. Create your own trend. System coaches drive me bonkers....gear your offense and defense to make the most out of everyone.

If you trade JA, then you need a new PF that can compliment Mobley's game, which means they need to be good shooting bigs that can replace JA's starter production.

Players that come to mind are Porzingis, Naz Reid, Lauri, Myles Turner, KAT.

Very expensive.

Mobley is in Mobleys way, not JA. Mobley is not a natural center. The reason that JA clashes with Mobley on offense is quite simply because Mobley has not developed his offensive game enough to be a modern PF. If JA left this would still be a problem.

You can trade JA for a wing and a draft pick. Draft a big man with one pick and best player with the other. Start Wade

That's good for 20 games a year when Wade is healthy. How about the other 80 games (should be the expectation to play around 100 games a year)
