If we lose Allen, it is going to be a blow to our defense and offensive efficiency; that's the obvious change. But what we are going to lose is our heart and sole of our team. He had a phenomenal year last year. He has gotten better and more physical. Trading him for AD to appease Lebron would be a travesty. You could move Allen to the bench if needed to make room in the paint but he is a major pillar for this team that if you take that leg away we crumble. Is Mobley our full time 5? Or is he our long term stretch 4. I think the latter, so either way you need a banger down low and Allen is the perfect complement for Mobley. You won't find a better pair.

However this season goes, this is most likely JA's last year on the team. It's not out of the question he could be traded at the deadline but it feels more likely Koby will roll with him as the starting C for one more full season

What big would we trade him for at the deadline? I don’t think there is a viable one but if you have one or more in mind please elaborate.

There’s zero chance we’d trade him for a non Big as we’re already too thin up front.

Jarrett is excellent value at his price point. I have a hard time seeing any trade at his salary that would be an upgrade.

I think it’s likely this group has two seasons.
