Back Puts Mcinnis In Hospital

10th October, 2005 - 6:22 am
New York Daily News - Jeff McInnis strained his back in practice on Saturday night and the injury flared up on him overnight to the point where the guard visited the hospital yesterday morning. McInnis, who suffered the injury when he tried to fight through a screen, couldn't walk in the morning but Lawrence Frank said he was later released from the hospital.
McInnis, the Nets' key offseason acquisition, is expected to come off the bench and play both guard positions this season.

"We will know more about it and see how he does," Frank said. "It's a muscle strain and that is it."

Jeff Visits Hospital To Find He Doesn't Have A Spine

How ironic that Jeff McQittis injures himself fighting through a screen :chuckles:. I guess that is why he never bothered last season. I wonder whether they actually realised he has no heart as well as no spine.

This guy's body is so damn frail. He will never be a decent defender with the frame he has.

Damn Karma! Way to call out J-Mac!!! He DID quit on the team last season. Viral infection MY ASS!!!

Viral infection, I beleive Vince Carter used that on us when we played them the first or 2nd game of the season when he was still with Toronto...couple of cry babies  they are hurting the good tarheel name!

McInnis was a viral infection. Thankfully we don't have to worry about him anymore.

McInnis will probably do a decent job with the Nets this year. He's usually ok his 1st season with a team. It's after that the disruptive, selfish, problem causing pain in the ass player begins to appear.

"The Nets went out over the summer and overhauled their bench. Now they boast, on paper, one of their deepest rosters ever. But one of the most important offseason acquisitions, guard Jeff McInnis, will sit tonight because of a strained lower back. After trying to save a ball in practice Saturday — "I felt something pull a little," McInnis said — the backup point guard awoke Sunday and couldn't move. "They had to send an ambulance to get me. It scared me. I couldn't even walk yesterday," McInnis offered. "Today is a lot better."

carter got food poisoning from a cleveland restraunt...i think we did it on purpose :) .

Ok fess up time. Who has the Jeff McQittis voodoo doll?
