JEREMIAH OWUSU-KORAMOAH

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Holy shit, he covered the middle backer position better than Walker from the weakside backer position. The speed is insane.
Exactly. The decision making/reading from JOK is what impresses me. He diagnoses the play FAST. Then his speed and tackling seem to be top-tier as well.

JOK is faster than i thought, but i knew he had speed, but what really is shocking is how quick he is at diagnosing the play and how good of a tackler he really is, that last part i was worried about because of size, but nope, he can tackle.

This play is not a good example but it was refreshing to see Walker back on the field Sunday.

The rust was real, but the Browns will be better later in the season once he is back to his normal self and calling out defensive shifts along the front.

He was calling the shifts before the snap. I agree some rust, but Walker went under a pulling guard to avoid the block, made the RB go out wider and JOK just cleaned up. While Walker didnt make the play, by avoiding the block he strung out the play some. He wasnt a huge help, 10% at most, but he helped.

A normal weakside linebacker doesnt get to that play though, so yes its 90% JOK, but not sure a less rusty Walker is able to do more than he did there, just doesnt have the foot speed to avoid the block and make the play. And for the record, only a handful of LB's do, we just happen to have one that is a rookie playing on the weakside.

4-6 weeks. Time for Mack to put down the pom-poms.

Stefanski also expects ... rookie linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah to play against the Ravens.
In Sunday’s 13-10 victory over the Detroit Lions at FirstEnergy Stadium, Landry was visibly limping on a nagging left knee injury that forced him to leave for a time. Owusu-Koramoah aggravated a right ankle sprain late in the third quarter and played only 14 of the defense’s 48 snaps (29%).

Because I'm too annoyed with the QB/offense, how about this kid? He had a GREAT game. While we all appreciated his performance this year so far, we TRULY wanted to see how he would handle Lamar. And he passed with flying colors. And he did all the great things in the run game and had tremendous closing speed wherever the ball went. I love his energy too. There is so much to look forward to in his career.

In the Ravens game, JOK provided a glimpse into the future with this defense.

The Browns went into the season excited for Jordan Phillips and JOK to learn from Anthony Walker and Malcolm Smith. Instead fans have mostly watched the leftovers from the Dorsey era and the mentors standing in. Smith and Walker know where they have to be, but they just aren't explosive getting there.

2021 may not be the season everyone wanted, but I'm looking forward to Phillips and JOK returning to health and building towards the future in the second level of the defense.

Future hall of famer. Dude is so explosive it's absurd. He was *everywhere* . His closing speed and his recognition (not even just for a rookie, but even for a veteran) were god mode yesterday.

The prince that was promised. We have found our Lamar stopper.
Yes! Exactly. First of all, like think about how great Lamar is that he can dodge guys like Clowney and Garrett when they have that speed. Those are the guys that make other professional players look like pop warner, and he makes them look like college players. But he's going to see JOK in his sleep. JOK is officially his cryptonite.
