Yes! Exactly. First of all, like think about how great Lamar is that he can dodge guys like Clowney and Garrett when they have that speed. Those are the guys that make other professional players look like pop warner, and he makes them look like college players. But he's going to see JOK in his sleep. JOK is officially his cryptonite.

I thought both him and Delpit looked more than capable of giving Lamar fits for the foreseeable future.

In the Ravens game, JOK provided a glimpse into the future with this defense.

The Browns went into the season excited for Jordan Phillips and JOK to learn from Anthony Walker and Malcolm Smith. Instead fans have mostly watched the leftovers from the Dorsey era and the mentors standing in. Smith and Walker know where they have to be, but they just aren't explosive getting there.

2021 may not be the season everyone wanted, but I'm looking forward to Phillips and JOK returning to health and building towards the future in the second level of the defense.

I agree with this, but am quite nervous a new DC changes things--and not in a good/great way...

I think if they both stay healthy JOK vs Jackson will be a must see match-up for a number of years to come.

Garrett, Ward, Newsome and JOK are a very nice grouping to build a championship defense around. The defense overall plays a lot faster when all four are on the field together.

JOK is just built different, he is so fast and his instincts are off the charts.

I found this graph showing JOK's instincts.

This guy is a stone cold stud.

Every game, there will be a play where a guys' numbers is blocked but he has done something so athletically spectacular that I know it is JOK.

One of the weirdest draft slides in recent memory and we finally capitalized on it. Such a huge draft win to get this guy in the second round.

Considering how much I was salivating over this guy pre-draft, I can't believe he's actually better than I expected. Blows my mind he was there in the 2nd round.

Guy is just going to explode next year with full snap count playing. Need to supplement but this defense has the cornerstones to be really good for a few years at least:

Garrett
JOK
Ward
Newsome
Delpit

Can't decide if we've seen enough overall improvement to roll with system continuity and keep Woods or if we need a new DC to further unlock some of the talent and scheme differently. Feel like with a few exceptions(UGH - The Chargers game I went to) that the defense has been a lot better than people suggest. Especially the past 6-8 games.

Would like to re-sign Clowney, add a dynamic young DE in the draft and then bring back Taki on the cheap and hope he's ready for the final 4 games of next year and playoffs(or is that too optimistic for an Achilles?)

Need a dominant DT to finalize the line. McDowell is nice but I'd like him to be the second best DT not our best

Need a stud LB next to JOK(can Phillips or Fields be that guy in time or do they need to add)

CB room is great when healthy. Would add another draft guy next to Ward, Newsome, Hill, and Greedy.

Need John Johnson to improve on this year. Would jettison Harrison, continue to develop LeCounte, and draft another safety in the mid rounds.
