DUD...sucked in NY and being here they rip into him in the media..a fat piece of shit...cant beleive he is getting 30 mil...thoughts :chuckles: :thumbdown

He has not surprised at all. He just plain and simple is a very mediocre player on his good nights. Generally though he couldn't be bothered trying so these "good nights" are few and far between. Basically, James is playing exactly to script.

Ummm tpyical new york player...I wish I got a 10 day contract and had a string of games vs like the Hornets Bobcats Hawks and averaged like 15....I'd get 25 mill over 5 years

not suprising to see an overpaid underacheiving big man signed long term in New York is it?

he got $30 mil from Isiah for trying in a playoff series against the center-less Kings (B Miller was hurt). I still can't believe that deal..

Remember that thread where Disector tried to prove Jerome was better then Ilgauskas.

Really? must have missed that one...That is sad.

lol, this bloke is consistently dissed by the funny peter vescey(?) in the post...he is a funny guy...how can you pay a bloke 30 mil and have to consider putting him out of the rotation...isiah thomas is a fkn pathetic gm...he makes moves for no reasons and makes bad ones at that...he was a good honest player, but his gm skills reek of shit

Jerome James isn't even getting any play time now. He is lazy and lacks heart, exactly what Brown doesn't want...I hear they are shopping him now too...ridiculous, nobody wants that ungodly contract of his.

I honestly dont know how Isiah still has a job. I mean, has he done ANYTHING positive for this team? It seems like Isiah is settling for long term mediocrity rather than blowing up the roster and going through a rebuilding process. This team has been in a slow decline since the Houston/Spreewell days.

Because New York is all about the names. People know who Isaiah Thomas is, even nonbasketball fans know him.

I think Thomas knows fans in NY don't want rebuilding but rather want results now. We all know the team needs to rebuild and should rebuild. But by forcing the issue and giving the illusion great change will take place, Thomas bought himself a little more time on the job. Now that that time is winding down, who knows what will happen. Some NY fans are rally in pain and I feel for them.
