Jeter stepping down as CEO

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I think we all agree Derek Jeter is probably the greatest athlete and decorated star of our lifetime…

Bringing him in just makes sense… It’s a no brainer move and the Dolans are super duper smart… Which obviously lends credence to @Kevalier post about seeing him at Barnes & Noble with his Cleveland gear on….

Earlier reports spotted him and a unanimous gentleman at Sokolowski’s. It is to be believed (if the reports are true by @The Oi ) that Jeter stepped down as the CEO of the Marlins to purchase and focus on re-opening and running Sokolowski’s…They may do a soft opening but from my understanding they would like to re-open before the baseball season starts in September…

One would think that’s just a gateway to purchasing the G’s…
I don’t think we all agree, Pip. Jeter was always overhyped and overrated. I think we all agree…

71 WAR, 3400 hits, a few gold gloves plus being a team captain at an early age...

More like Diamond gloves !!

It could be completely unrelated, but I just saw Derek Jeter walking out of Barnes and Noble in Crocker Park wearing a "Cleveland or Nowhere" t-shirt. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but it's difficult to contain my excitement after seeing that.
It's common knowledge that's Jeter's January-May vacation home is in Strongsville

Though I don't think he actually deserved them... otherwise he had a great career.
oh absolutely, he had a great career, deserved to be a HoF. But the love affair people had (and some still do....) with Jeter was crazy. He should have never got a single gold glove and thats not even really debatable. He wasnt good in the field which it makes it even more ironic that the play he is known best for is a play he didnt need to be involved in.

It's not like he wasn't a solid fielder and it did help he could make some hard throws, but at the end of the day, he wasn't better than other guys in the league...

Jeter was the most clutch ever…

Put Jeter in another franchise and he'd wouldn't be celebrated even remotely as he is...

Great player and definitely HOF worthy with his time in NY, but put him in KC, ARI, or MIA to start his career and he would be more like Alex Rodriguez.

You had one job @PIP. ONE JOB!!!!!

Pics of Jeter’s women. You want to claim he’s the GOAT, that’s the best evidence available.
