Joe Schobert

Bumping another worthy thread. I've been pulling for Joe the Show since he was drafted. I like his motor. That said, I'm impressed with how much his game has changed since becoming a pro. He used to be known as a middle linebacker who was solid in blitz packages. Now he is a play maker in zone coverage along with stopping the run.
 
Joe is smart. Not the most athletically gifted, but he gets 110% out of what he has. He's a very good player. He can have a nice long career in this league.

A hamstring issue for a guy they consistently have drop 30+ yards down field?

Probably a long time and he wont be the same when he comes back. A shame.
 
Overshadowed by the debacle involving Myles Garrett last night was the fact that Joe had probably his best game as a pro.

Don't much care if Kirksey stays or goes, but I really hope they make an effort to hang onto Joe.

Anyone that can dunk like that will be successful in the league. Hands down.
 
I think Schobert is going to be priority #1 in free agency. Lock down Schobert, make a competitive offer to Randall, secure Hunt (RFA) to a multi-year deal if you can. After that, Eric Murray and Justin McCray would be nice to hang onto but nobody is irreplaceable.

Can we keep Hunt? I really hope we can somehow. He’s a huge difference maker.
