(No Longer) Joe Woods’ Defense

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This would be nice, assuming success.

On the other hand, we should be so lucky our DC does such a great job they get considered for HC jobs elsewhere. :chuckle:
Yeah, but when you get older, you don't want the extra responsibilities. You find what you enjoy, and that's all you want to do. It's called living a happy, fulfilled, content life.

The same way Wade Phillips never went back for a head coaching gig, even though he was one of the best DC's in football.

Oh I agree. Just sarcastically wishing any of pur previous DC's ever turned out a good enough defense to be considered for a HC job.

Agreed.

I prefer Fangio's coverage concepts.

I also think Fangio's track record is insurmountable. There isn't anyone in the pro game who put together a decade like he did between SF, Chicago and Denver.

The only way you’re getting Fangio is if you’re firing Kevin and snagging SP, too. Or if SP ends up nowhere, which Id assume is very doubtful.

Pretty sure they confirmed that was the case a few weeks ago.

JJ3 constantly has been making the wrong play when he's supposed to be the deep safety all goddamn year long. For a vet to constantly make the wrong read like that is so frustrating.

What you are is literally in your position name. Safety. Last line of defense. Play like it. Asshole.
JJ3 did a great job this season in shifting my anger from woods to him

I still think Woods needed to go and this was the correct call, but we can’t run JJ3 back there next year. Just a trainwreck and tons of Wills level effort plays

Browns also requested permission to interview Flores from the Steelers.
