(No Longer) Joe Woods’ Defense

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Dude is clearly in way over his head. We've just wasted 2 damn years of Garrett's prime with a dumbass DC who continuously says one thing but always does something else. Sick of this soft ass crap on the field.

Interesting seeing Matt Ryan lay an egg against NE last night. The whole team (with the backup QBs) threw 4 interceptions. I don't think there's anyone that can tell me that NE's defense is more talented than ours.

Coaching matters sooooo much in this league it ain't even funny.

Wow. This entire coaching staff needs to go if it's going to start burning bridges with Garrett now. And I don't care if that comes off as a knee jerk reaction. Garrett is too important to this organization.
The ENTIRE coaching staff? Come the fuck on man.

Keep Stefanski. Fire Woods. Hire Belichick.

I'll be honest, our defense is more talented. But Bill is the smartest defensive mind in NFL History. So if he has good talent, hes really hard to beat

One lesson of football that has always stuck with me is that the team only plays one game a week. Because of that long space in between, you can't get too high off a win and you can't get too low off a loss.

The Browns pulverized the Bengals. Fans talked like a win on the road against a good Patriots team was a sure thing. Vegas didn't say the Browns would win, but fans got too high.

After the loss, which was obviously much worse than expected, the people who want everyone fired immediately are going too low. It was a bad loss, and one that changes the playoff landscape for the franchise. They are also really depleted from injury. Maybe the team gets healthy this season, maybe they don't. It's a reality of football.

Just no reason for the Browns to ruin your whole week.

Exactly, they just come ruin this message board for a week. Have you seen some of the topics discussed in here the last 7 days. :chuckle:

What a response. That is some leadership right there. FFS.

This is atrocious. He could say literally anything like, "Myles and I have had conversations and we've found some ways we can collectively get better together each and every week." And if Myles saying something doesn't bother him - the shitty job he's doing on the field should.

And I don't take Myles as someone that gets upset and impulsively puts people on blast. I would venture to guess many conversations have been had internally between Myles/other players/coaching staff before it hit the media, with 0 accountability or change.

I'm not an advocate for firing the entire coaching staff but I would expect that Kevin Stefanski takes a hard look at what is actually happening on the field. If he had a bad week, so be it, but if Woods is consistently underperforming, failing to make adjustments whether during games or after, and losing the confidence of his unit, then that's a problem (from what we've all been watching over the past couple of years, seems like it's the latter).

It's bad if Stefanski doesn't see it and doesn't take action, and it's even worse if he sees it and doesn't take action.

These gifs smell like wet dogs and 30yr old carpet stained with Busch Light, Red Bull, Mountain Dew, White Castle and questionable activities with a mature BBW...
This place is on fire today with the jokes. Props good sir.

I've been very anti-Joe Woods for most of his tenure here, but I've been trying my best to be fair to him and understand he's a human being.

If Detroit scores more than 25 on us, fire him into the sun.
