Anything that stood out in particular?

I could only watch the highlights, but I saw some very nice spacing at times.

Spacing, movement, cuts. It just looked like even the worst players on the floor knew what they should be doing.

I forgot he was coach.....

LeBron would have never given up control, unless you are talking about LeBron in his rookie year.

no doubt lebron wouldn’t. But he could have had a better impact on the other players. This of course is if lebron didn’t undermine him.

Hard to see Beilein as anything other than a "Bridge Coach". He'll spend 2-3 years working with the young guys, hopefully instill some good habits while he's here, and then he'll get replaced before the team makes any serious free agent moves. He's a success if he's better than Paul Silas or Byron Scott, so there's a really good chance that he succeeds.

If his replacement is already on the staff, it might be a good thing. I see him coaching for a few years of playoff runs.

If he can get the Cavs to the playoffs, then he's like "Czar of the Telestrator" good!

I think he might be viewed as a failure if he can't get this bunch to the playoffs in the next 3 years. That is somewhat dependent on the roster like if Love gets traded this year that window gets extended.

We get our first glimpse tonight

Man I wish we could have had him during the lebron years. We needed to get back to fundamentals and stop worrying about looking cool.
When are people going to stop acting like lebron would allow a real coach to actually do his job.. we had Blatt. didn't end well.

I liked the Beilein hire. Now I'm not so sure. Nance already thinks hes the defacto PG half the time. Now he's gonna start raining bricks with the green light from the coach.
