Big fan of Luke Walton

Gilbert might as well offer to trade Drew for Walton if the Cavs want Walton. The Lakers will most likely strike out on most of their short list of potential coaches. They will probably come down to Lue or Drew at the end of the day.

Stackhouse is out, as a rule we cant hire coaches younger than me or I remember them playing in Highschool.

If I use this criteria well I guess we can give Hubie a call.

Yeah...big fat no on Avery Johnson. If that’s the best we can do, just keep Drew. He’s kept the guys motivated and we’ve seen improvement from Sexton, Zizic, Cedi, Nance. Can’t complain about the job he’s done.

I actually wouldn't mind trying to convince Walton to come this way.

Also how would you guys rate our GM currently? I know he hasn't been there long, but we need to look at scouting, GM etc since this is a rebuild and we need to do it the right way.

Well unless I got April Fools’d looks like Stackhouse is off the table. Vanderbilt got to him first

Yep, Stackhouse in serious talks to take the Vanderbilt job.

Homerun hire by them, IMO. Guy has shown he can coach and has strong connections in the AAU circuit.

Avery Johnson would be terrible.. and I could totally see Dan Gilbert falling in love with him because he's short and excelled to a decent degree as a player in the NBA. uhg.

I do like Luke Walton for a young group (that LA team was doomed no matter the coach), supposedly Altman likes Jordi Fernandez from Denver. I don't think Drew wants back, nor do the Cavs really want him back.

And of course.. the "this makes no basketball sense, but I'm a 45+ years old Cavs fan" pick: Mark Price.

Surely the Charlotte 49ers got it wrong.

I added a poll about keeping Drew
I feel bad for him. He was in a very tough situation and I'm not sure who could have done better
But next season we could very well be a playoff contender. Time for a new voice.
If we get the number 1 pick, it better be a strong voice.
