Into today's NBA Nance really isn't undersized at PF, hes 6-9 with a 7-1 wingspan. Also has a 9'0'' standing reach which is slightly higher then average. This isn't the early 00's or 90's where PF's are taller and stronger. Its 2019 and PF's are around Nance's size and athletic.

I am not calling Nance a good defender, I am also not arguing the defense will be brutal. Just pointing out for a PF in today's game Nance is not undersized.
For some reason I thought he was 6'7", he kinda look shorter compared to regular PFs...

It seems to me, Kevin Love was rather upset playing the 5 full-time a few years ago. For a guy who seldom complained, this was one item that he openly complained about.

I'd have to believe this hints a little that he won't be on the roster.
It also had to do with the fact that LeBron moved him to center and not the coaches.

I am just going off combine measurements. But either way whats most important is length. Hes got length. Hes got energy and is a solid rebounder. Maybe with Bickerstaff he can finally learn how to use that length to his advantage. He at least creates turnovers. He was the teams leader in both SPG and BPG. In fact he was our only regular who averaged over 1 SPG with 1.5 SPG. Only other players with 1 or more SPG were JR Smith with 1 SPG, and Sam Dekkar with 1.2 SPG (each had small sample sizes clearly). Our team was terrible at creating turnovers. He led with .6 BPG thats just horrifying. So even if he is only 6-7 it doesn't change the fact that he has great length and at the very least can create steals. If we can find a defensive anchor and let Larry Nance Jr. loose on defense I think he can get a block per game as well.

I like Beilein, but he may need some humbling in terms of how he structures the lineups. May get pounded a few times and have to adjust. Hope he is fast learner

Looking at our roster, anyone would get pounded at the helm.

This year is simply about forging an identity on offense and developing young guys.

I'm just saying, if this team looks awful and disjointed this season, I'm officially done with the NBA and I'm moving on to Korfball.

Korfball uses the metric system, @Man Called X. It's all measured in meters, kilograms and farfegnugen. Enjoy all the mathematical conversions.
