After Time Outs are horrendous. That is one thing I can blame on him directly.

The players failing to do fundamental shit I'm not sure I can say is 100% on him, but he needs to make that an emphasis.

I only jump in when there's a pattern of bad habits, and the ATO stuff is one of them.

Only three teams in the NBA have less than the 6 losses the Cavs have. I wonder what horrible decisions and choices that 26 teams coaches have made to result in this 6 or more losses.

It’s not about the 6 losses, it’s how we were losing. Consistently blowing huge leads in the 4th quarter, relying on the heroics of mitchel and garland rather then good game planning. Besides from the Celtics we havnt beaten anybody that good, and we’ve lost to some pretty bad teams.

And then last night we play a terrible hornets team and almost lose (while leading by 10 in the last 50 seconds)

We probably have a top 5 roster, definitely a top 5 starting 5. We should be top of the league, yet we’re like 1 win ahead of the Knicks

He is so fucking baaad. He is running his playing to the fucking ground while still barely squeaking wins with terrible rotations. His rotations make no sense. Why the heck do you play Mobley for 15 minutes straight in the 1st half and then only give him 2.5 minutes of rest and you bring him back in?

Mobley clearly gets fatigued at the end of games and it will get worse with his NBA 2k rotations.

Same thing in the 2nd half with the Mitchell/Garland rotations. Like dude...relax and use your bench. Use Robin against this plodding team.

Mitchell is scorching hot in the 1st and he takes him out at the 4.5 minute mark...have some feel for the game jesus.

I'm not even gonna mention his basic offense. This team should be much better offensively. Too many mid range shots. Too much PnR. Oh, and ofcourse, his stupid ATO plays. Lol.

Ok.

I’m sure all the other 26 teams with 6+ losses all lost in the totally acceptable, understandable ways.

You don’t see any problems with our offense That could possibly relate to coaching? We should be blowing out teams like the Hornets, not barely beating them in double ot

Most of those other 26 teams don’t have 3.5 allstars.

Praying that Rubio’s return fixes this bench unit. The tight rotation is killing us at the end of games. If Love or LeVert aren’t feeling it, things get so rough.

I want to highlight one of the OOB plays last night. The one where Allen got mugged.

Our guards were running around getting ball denied in single coverage. That was solid effort by CHA. Love was just standing there in front of the in bounds for 3 seconds...not moving or anything. How is this a good game plan? Why can't we have Love set a flare screen to open up DG or Mitch? Why was Allen not doing the same?

There was no attempt for deception or anything on the play. The movement we had was just to make it look like something was happening, without purpose. Its like when a fox just dashdances in the corner without a plan to approach. CHA didn't need to put effort into deciding where to move because they could just get away with a man to man.

I am pretty sure we had more complex offensive out of bounds actions in my middle school summer rec games. This cannot be a real offensive play an NBA coach called up. It was very frustrating to watch as an observer and even one like me who doesn't have a great eye for whats going on on the court

I just have the feeling like the players, in a very short amount of time, have felt that the JBB experience is getting old. I see more inconsistent effort on the court compared to last year.

And good Lord, JBB is reaching Rasheed Wallace levels when it comes to harassing the refs. He argues every, single, call. I want to mute my TV. I think it's rubbing off on some of the young guys too.

The one thing we liked about JBB is he got our team to play harder than most other teams. Now he can't even do that. A lot of missed rebounds and 50/50 balls. Maybe the chain has run its course too; I mean, this isn't elementary school...

The players are clearly tired at the end of games.

To not play Neto right now is a joke.

Okoro gets an impressive offensive rebound once every 5 games and that's literally the only good thing I can say about him. He had to show significant improvement this year and he hasn't. He's had 2 full years in the NBA now and still hasn't learned how to not commit fouls. He gets caught on every screen like velcro. I could live with the poor offensive game to an extent if he was actually effective defensively. But he's not. And he doesn't even make hustle plays. All this, and he's undersized at the 3.

There is almost no offensive system to speak of. Sometimes Cedi and Love are able to generate an easy shot or two per game from their movement. Otherwise, it's 100% on DG/DM to make something out of nothing.

The help-defense is usually on point, but so much of a focus that some guys are really not making it enough of a priority to defend individually, in my opinion.

Yea it was terrible. It's normally like this at the end of games. We struggle to get the ball in bounds because there's absolutely no complexity at all.

Meanwhile, Charlotte has two straight in bounds plays under 30 seconds where they get open catch and shoot 3s at a time when the Cavs knew that's all they wanted to shoot.

And we can't get the ball in bounds to to one of 3 people to simply just catch and be fouled?

Just obvious coaching differences. JBB is an awful tactician.

This is just standard fair stuff again.

Did you watch the final minute of that game? Are you telling me you saw absolutely no difference between our out of bounds plays and their out of bounds plays.

You could not have had a more stark contrast and better example of an area JBB just totally fails in than that.

They got two open 3s and we couldn't simple just get the ball in bounds.

Ok.

How many of those teams have 3.5 all stars? Cavs are one of the most talented teams in the league, the talent disparity last night was massive yet the game went to double OT? Shouldn't have happened.

I have zero evidence to back this up but I feel like it's normal to bust a slump with a 3/10 performance as opposed to a 10/10.

Just be happy for the win.

This stretch of poor play has really shown how we, like most teams, need someone other than the expected dudes to get hot everyone once in while. Disregarding the games Allen missed, for the most part, Garland, Mitchell, Mobley and Allen have done what they do. But what we've been missing lately is a Cedi, Love, Levert, burst. Usually one of those guys part of a Cavalanche. Cedi isn't getting a chance (which makes no sense with Wade's shooting absent) but the other two just haven't been very productive. We got just 10 points in 61 minutes from Love, LeVert & Cedi last night. If one of them has a good night its a comfortable win.
