Incredible point - did Madden invent the turducken, or merely popularize it on national television?
Can still hear his voice buffering the Lions game from the Cowboys game with meats and a telestrator drawing...

Turducken has been around for a bit since the 80's, its a Cajun thing thing that Madden popularized. But it started in a small town in Louisiana. I have been dying to try one, my Uncle who lives in NOLA says they are over rated, lol.

The guy is practically worshipped and yet he ate food that started with “Turd” and drew penises on the screen.
Did work for ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. Company man.
He inspired Erica Jong and actually wrote the code for his eponymous iconic and melodious football video games. Or at least he agreed to let them use his name and deposit money in his bank account.
Failed completely to live up to the name of his generation (no, he wasn’t a Boomer).

It’s funny cause I can go and watch a 90’s random game on YouTube and enjoy it from just that standpoint…
Hell even the little score box in the top left on those fox broadcasts would work too….
Shoulder pads, helmets that looked like helmets without all these little octagon shaped coaster looking things on them….
