He would be an upgrade at the starting SG spot, no doubt. And I wouldn't think he would be too expensive to get. Maybe Sasha and a second round pick or something. What do you all think?

He is average / above average, but I think we should avoiding making a small move like this for a while, just in case we can pull a major deal for a superstar like Redd.

I am not sure that Sacramento would be overly eager to deal him considering that he is Ron Artest's backup and they don't have Artest locked up long term.

Also I am fairly certain that they would want more than Sasha, they would probably want andy or one of our young point guards for him.

Not to mention I have no love for Geoff Petrie for getting bent over by ATL after trying to be a hard ass with us

sorry bud but salmons would not be a small move. of course u go after redd, davis what not. But those look far fetched anyway. salmons is a real idea. that could really happen.

To name a player from the kings who i would want over redd, davis, o'neal, carmelo or anyone, is kevin martin. He is one of my fav players in the game right now, the guy can ball. does have injury issues. But kings won't give him up for anything less then lebron.

Getting Salmons would be a small move, how isn't it? Salmons is a servicable player but last year was the only time in his 6 years he has averaged double figure scoring and in the past 3 seasons he has averaged 25, 27 and 31 minutes per game, so its not like he wasn't getting playing time in the previous years. That being said I wouldn't mind if we got him but its nothing big.

people are stupid, a small move is trading like devin brown for cash( just example) trading for a starting SG is not small. i'm not saying its the biggest thing ever, but def not small.

Plus this game is all about what have you done for me lately, and salmons been good. confridence is up, and with more plays being made for him, he can be huge for a team.

Yah but they didnt have Bibby.... OR Artest for most of the year. When giving a HIGHER role in an offense Salmons IS our best bet as a non-superstar.

also, Salmons had 19 20 point games...only 9 came in forty minutes of work...

I like how he can create off the dribble, but he's been shipped all over 4 a reason. He's servicable thats it.

who do we have thats better other then lebron, Z????

gibson??? nope
west??? not yet

thank you

If you could get him on the cheap, he's the kind of valuable role player we could use. I've always liked his mid-range jumper and his ability to score in small bursts. Never got much love in Phili...
