Josh Smith Idea??

In the offseason it seemed like he was looking for a way out of Atlanta. Considering he is hurt, the fact they have there future PF in Horford, and he was trying to leave anyways why not get him. Im not sure on an exact deal but it would consist of AV going to Atlanta. They need a Center and AV can be that for them. He would also help there defense out a lot.

On our end we move ben to the bench in av's old role and start josh. He becomes the reciever of alley opps from mo and lebron. He becomes what Amare is to nash in pheonix. Smith would bring great intensity on defense and a scoring mentality on offense.

He was trying to leave in the offseason anyways. Why not try to get him. AV can easily play center because with Horford he could just focus on defense.

Not realistic at all. What would you add to AV to spark an interest in ATL? We don't have what it'd take.

Atl would never give up Josh Smith. He is young, and an absolute freak. There isn't much he doesn't do. No way jose would Atl trade Josh Smith.

First off, no way would Atlanta trade their second best player. There is absolutely no reason they would consider trading Josh Smith. However, to say that we could trade them AV for J-Smoove because it helps their defense is ridiculous! Josh Smith is one of the best shotblockers in the league. Sure, AV might have 2 inches on him, but seriously, Atlanta would just laugh at us and block Ferry's number if we offered this.

Why not throw in Eric Snow for Joe Johnson while we're at it?

Josh Smith just signed a big extension with Atlanta. Even if Atlanta WANTED to do it, we wouldn't be able to get it done, as Josh is a BYC...and nobody is gonna help us get him without getting PAID very well.
