JR Smith

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Love JR for killing it in that game 7 but his pretty much cooked, As mentioned before his locker room antics are real problem. Look WTH does soup in in asst coaches face? Still suprised we didn't get anything for him. I don't blame him what's so ever, I blame that cock-cucking POS Raul Paul. Dude is a scumbag fucktard that needs to exile out of the league.

You’re blaming Rich Paul for a grown man throwing soup at a coach? Maybe I didn’t read that correctly.

We didn’t get anything because there was a clear disconnect between the value Koby thinks that contract had versus other GM’s but compounded by the amount of teams that had enough cap space to absorb contracts fully without sending anything back. It also didn’t help that he talked up this contract in public. Didn’t matter much because they were targeting Langford but it’ll interesting to see how he works out in Boston.

Off topic but IMO Koby is headed for a similar blunder with Love. His market won’t be helped by Blake Griffin trade talks unfortunately.

He's played in China before, and honestly, they pay well for over the hill ex NBA players.
I mean 1.5-2 million a year is something I would gladly take, but not sure it's worth it for JR. I guess ultimately depends on how much he just wants to play basketball

When I think of JR in China I think of this:

Within days of J.R. Smith arriving armed with a historic $3 million contract, Zhejiang of the Chinese Basketball League had come to regret signing the clown prince of basketball. From unreasonable demands on the kind of car needed to curry him around the city, to skipping practices for shopping excursions in neighboring cities, to a relentless pattern of insubordination, Smith's bad act had never been worse.

Perhaps his greatest excess of idiocy had been a weekend of running a room service bill into the proximity of $3,000, a source with direct knowledge told Yahoo Sports. He kept ordering food, stacking piles of trays upon trays – "just to see if they would keep bringing it to the room," the source said.
All uneaten, all on the franchise's tab – all a window into a fool.

He got fined $1 million while on a $3 million contract LMAO. I don’t think any Chinese club will take him even if he offered to play for free.

Yeah slight misunderstanding my dear friend. I blame that sleaze-ball Rich Paul for sacking us with the ridulous contracts that TT and JR got. His only play was using Lebron resigning as leverage (fucken 1+1). I'm happy Marcus Morris fired that dick-riding loser and actually called him out for his conflict of interest. Hopefully the NBA looks into this and bans his ass soon. His nothing but LBJ lackey ball-boy. Also Griffin was GM at the time so that's on him, but he was put into a VERY diffucult spot. As for the soup thing, as funny as it sounds to us; If I was acting GM I would fined him right there, sent him home and tried to void his contract immmediately as a way to get out of that shit and claim it as some pussy ass "assault" in the work place. I'm sure if the bitched loud often to that pansie Silver he would have caved like how bends over cheeks spread wide-open for the players. The Love contract was a terrible move and to this day I blame Dan for his spitefullness .

Have another beer!

I hold no ill will towards JR. He helped us win a championship in 2016. Sure, we overpaid for him in his next contract, but that was largely because he was LeBron‘s buddy and was being represented by another buddy of LeBron.

I can see him landing in either Milwaukee or Philadelphia, where he would be nice depth off the bench.

"All a window into a fool" is a great line.

Check out his advanced stats on basketball reference. His defense has dropped every year since the 14-15 season. It's been negative the lst three, and it completely cratered last year. And he'll be 34 this season, so he isn't going to get better.

Bench players who are such a defensive liability have to be good offensively to get any minutes, and JR's shot isn't what it used to be. The only reason any team brings on a vet like that whose play has declined is for their positive effect on the locker room.

And...yeah.

Not true. JR can shoot the ball from the outside and help provide spacing. At times, he even did a decent job guarding Klay Thompson in the Finals.

For a guy who was essentially a throw in, going back to that 3-way trade we made with the Knicks & Thunder, JR was a pleasant surprise. He proved to be better than Shumpert.

Assuming he’s properly motivated, he can play a role as a veteran off the bench for a contender, like the Bucks, Sixers, Rockets, or Clippers.

I think JR and the Bucks for vet min could be a good match. I realize JR's short comings, but he can still shoot, and should be wide open for the 10-20 mins a game they will use him.

NBA star J.R. Smith beat the living daylights out of a man who allegedly smashed his car window during the wild protests in L.A. ... and TMZ Sports has the video.

You can see ... the 6'6", 225-pounder unleashed a barrage of violent kicks on the man -- landing several times in the head.

When the guy finally stands up on his feet, Smith delivered a final punishing overhand right to the guy's dome.

Finally, some of J.R.'s friends step in and the other guy scurries off in a hurry.

Smith explained the attack in an emotionally charged video -- saying, "One of these motherfu**king white boys didn't know where he was going and broke my f**king window in my truck."

"Broke my sh*t."

Smith says his truck was parked in a residential area -- away from the stores that were being looted.

We're told the incident took place around the Fairfax area -- near the famous Flight Club sneaker shop, which had just been looted.

"I chased him down and whooped his ass," Smith said.

Smith says the incident was NOT fueled by race or hatred -- it was simply revenge for messing with his truck.

AKA, Street Justice.

"He didn't know whose window he broke and he got his ass whooped."
