I was wondering for the posters on here....who is your ALL TIME favorite Cavalier and then who is your ALL TIME favorite NBA player period.

My all time favorite Cavs player will always be Brad Daughtery. As for my all time NBA player there's a 1 and 1A. Earl Monroe has always been my favorite (fashioned my game after his growing up) and there's 1A....Magic Johnson. Nobody (IMHO) impacted and took over a game like he did.

All time favorite Cavalier- man, it is tough...Big Brad or Ron Harper. Gun to head, I'd say Harper, Just wish he would've been here longer.

Favorite NBA player of all time was Isiah Thomas. Watching Zeke battle Mark Price was some epic great fun. I loved Magic as well,

Lebron is easily mine. Yes he comes with allot of drama, but he also came with a championship and a bunch of finals appearances.

2nd favorite is Larry Nance, favorite non cav is Hakeem...so underrated, would be a MONSTER in todays game...just a fluid incredible athlete.

Favorite Cav is tough - either Mark Price or World B Free.

Favorite player is the Big O.

My favorite Cavalier outside Lebron was Hot Rod Williams.

My favorite non-Cavalier is Gary Payton. It's shameful,he doesn't get mentioned more often especially when he's the only point guard to win Defensive Player of the Year..

Sonics were my second favorite team..

I’m taking Lebron out of the equation, because it’s easy for me to say him for both. Excepting that...
Favorite Cav: Mark Price
Favorite non-Cav: fuck em all, Cleveland against the world.

Brad was a special talent in the Post. I loved the Sweeping Hook. Price is a close second with Terrell Brandon.

Favorite non-Cav? Hakeem the Dream.

I still love Varejao. He just had that heart. I loved to watch him play and his pick and roll with Lebron was so good. Hated the way his body broke down at the end. He had so much chemistry with Lebron he was better than Love for short stretch in 2014

Shaq is maybe my favorite player. I liked him even in Cleveland, but after the injury he was done.

Thing is, as crazy as it sounds, LBJ is in my top five all time Cavs but even with the title he brought he doesn’t crack my top three! My Top Five in order: Daugherty, Price, Nance, LBJ and Harper!

Great topic. Great names.
It's funny. My favorite Cavs are not the big scorers. I liked the guys that did the dirty work. Like Lonnie Shelton and Rick Roberson. I think Roberson still holds the franchise record for most rebounds in a game.

As for my favorite NBA player I have another obscure choice: Connie Hawkins. Maybe he wasn't my favorite, but he got me interested in the NBA. I was just a kid . I read his great autobiography "Foul" and became fascinated. Hawkins was a spectacular player, and a playground legend. He got involved in a scandal, and only made it to the NBA later. He played for the Sun's, who never seemed to be on tv. I just saw highlights of him play. When you don't see a player, and only hear about him, he becomes a legend, more myth than man.
Eventually my buddies and I went down to the old Cleveland Arena to see the Sun's play the Cavs. I was thrilled.
