Just a Random Thought and Question

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Favorite Cav growing up was always Daniel "Boobie" Gibson. Loved to play against my friends in 2k and drop 60 with Boobie vs them scoring 50 with Kobe. I started watching basketball during the 2007 Finals run, so Boobie's game 6 still has a special place for me.

My favorite non-Cav was probably Allen Iverson. Loved how big he played despite being my height. The first game of basketball I ever watched was when he stepped over our old coach. He was my favorite player since that game. Among active players, my favorite is probably Dame. I just love his game.

Favorite Cav: another vote for Z. Man that dude battles through those foot issues and still made one hell of an impact during games.

All time: this is bizarre, but baron davis, mostly because of that 07 series against the mavs
My friends and I were obsessed with Baron around that time (teenagers). What a character

Great topic. Great names.
It's funny. My favorite Cavs are not the big scorers. I liked the guys that did the dirty work. Like Lonnie Shelton and Rick Roberson. I think Roberson still holds the franchise record for most rebounds in a game.

As for my favorite NBA player I have another obscure choice: Connie Hawkins. Maybe he wasn't my favorite, but he got me interested in the NBA. I was just a kid . I read his great autobiography "Foul" and became fascinated. Hawkins was a spectacular player, and a playground legend. He got involved in a scandal, and only made it to the NBA later. He played for the Sun's, who never seemed to be on tv. I just saw highlights of him play. When you don't see a player, and only hear about him, he becomes a legend, more myth than man.
Eventually my buddies and I went down to the old Cleveland Arena to see the Sun's play the Cavs. I was thrilled.
Damn I had forgotten about Connie (the Hawk)
His greatest playing days came in the old ABA! Boy could he glide through the air so effortlessly for a dunk or finger roll!

Andy for both. His jersey is on my wall, and my favorite players are still of his mold.

I also loved Z a lot too. Outside the Cavs its Ben Wallace (acknowledging his short stint with us) and Dennis Rodman.

I kinda have a type :chuckle:

Do I break the game if my favorite Cav is Mark Price and my favorite NBA player is LBJ?

The Hawk looked like he was playing with a grapefruit.

Cavs players
1) Mark Price
2) World B Free
3) Larry Nance/Lonnie Shelton
5) Z

Non Cavs
1) Sir Charles
2) Dr J
3) Magic
4) Shaq

I actually responded to Mark's tweet regarding this and he liked it. Awesome day.

The Cavs around that time gets overlooked alot. People dont realize how good that those teams were at the time.

my favourites growing up were LBJ/Mo Williams but I think Kyrie passed them both.

My favourite outside cavs is probably Rose before the injury
