Atalanta is in a rebuild-salary dump....

Swap shumpert whose contract comes off the books after next season for bazemore whose contract is a year longer.

Give them caspi or a 2nd round pick....

We need athleticism on the wings and players that can run and jump for the duration of a long season.

Intriguing.. Bazemore has swag and a chip on his shoulder.. Him and crowder would be a great wing combo...

Atlanta would trade Bazemore in an instant. He is a good guy, great locker room presence, but I dn't see why Atalnta wouldn't trade him for Shumpert.. his contract coupled with his spaz play has no value on a rebuilding team. I'd argue and say that Shumpert has more value for Atlanta.

Bazemore is okay in a very limited, defined role, but when he tries to do too much it becomes catastrophic. He is like a bigger Shumpert, but likable.

He's not worth his contract. Doesn't shoot the three that well. We already have JR (yes I realize he's horrible now), Wade, Korver. Pass.

I've only seen him play against us, therefore I believe bazemore has superstar potential.

Curious how the Cavs would go about trading a Warriors player for a Hawks player.

Salaries don't really align at all - don't see how you get this to work without it being Shumpert + Frye, which I don't want to do.

Could be Shumpert + Osman + Caulderon (after Dec 15), but I don't think you want to do that either, unless you get something better back.

Bazemore doesn't strike me as a 'missing piece' kind of acquisition.
