I would have no interest in KD. His body is clearly breaking down. He's still an amazing player. But one of the number 1 things you need in a player is availability.

So are you one of those guys who no longer LBJ here in Cleveland? Because for the past two years he hasn’t been able to stay healthy either! KD has suffered some injuries but it hasn’t affected his game at all. In the Nets last series against Boston the guy averaged 31 points a game! This guy is still considered a top five player in the league and if he’s not going to cost us JA, Mobley or Garland we should be all in to see what it would take to get him.

So Nets are just going to trade us KD for Lauri, Okoro and picks? They can't get Sexton in the trade because they are in Luxury Tax so they can't get a sign and trade player. Garland can't be traded for a period of time now because of his extension. The Nets would obviously demand Mobley as the headliner.

The only thing the Nets are going to get for Kevin Durant are a bunch of lottery tickets over the next 5 years, and salary relief that can be turned into cap space that can be turned into more lottery tickets.

Maybe the Nets can trade those lottery tickets for other assets, maybe not.

KD has 4 years left on his contract and has no say where he goes. He also requested this trade a day or two after Kyrie opted in to his contract for one more year with Brooklyn because Kyrie says he won't leave KD hanging.

Sounds like KD is ready to gtfo of there and away from Kyrie. Even if it means risking being traded to a terrible team.

Cryie’s extension is null and void! His next big pay IF IT HAPPENS is two years away (should he sign as a FA with the Lakers in the off-season).

Who exactly has the money to give him a big pay day?? And it’s not this “past” season that’s the problem with Cryie! It’s his “history”! The guy can’t be counted on to be there for his team. Give him $50 million for a season but as Stephen A said and I agree “Give it to him in one year contracts”! This irresponsible narristic idiot does not deserve another long term contract and I don’t think he’ll ever get another one

This, on paper, is a five-team trade which are seemingly impossible to pull off. But, who knows!

Donovan Mitchell, Cavs' 2026 FRP, Cavs' 2027 FRP (top-5 protected). They pair Simmons with Mitchell for one of the best back courts in the league, and get two FRPs. That might not be enough, but apparently the offers are not that exciting now anyway. Cavs add the protection to the 2027 pick because KD will no longer be playing (for us, at least). Another lottery protected FRP (from CHA) can be added if CHA trade Haywards + LP FRP for Love to save $28 mil.

DAL get:
Collin Sexton on S&T (3 years --> 16 mil, 17 mil, 18 mil, or in that range). DAL get what they want.

UTA get:
LeVert, Markk, Cavs' 2024 FRP, 2025 FRP. This is assuming that they get into rebuild mode. They might flip the players for more picks. However, Conley, LeVert, Bogdanovic, Markk line-up would not be push-overs

SAS get:
Davis Bertans, DAL 2025 SRP, GSW 2023 SRP (from Cavs). They have the cap space to absorb that salary, and get 2 SRPs for that. DAL pick can even be heavily protected FRP.

So, all said and done, Cavs will start DG, Okoro (or Ochai), KD, Mobley, and Allen.
