Kevin Love - Miami Ground Machine

My perception is that Love is checked out and wouldn't be missing so many games if he played on a contending team.

No one likes to lose. For years on end. Without even sniffing the playoffs.

Considering how other star players have reacted to sustained losing Love is actually behaving well.

Again you haven’t been watching the same Kevin Love! Is a stopper on defense? Hell no! But he was not giving up double doubles on a nightly basis! And for the record our entire team with the exception of Sexton stunk up the joint defensively last year including the quicker and younger Cavs! Hell Kyrie gave up double doubles on a nightly basis! You guys need to stop hating just to hate! The fact that this guy WANTED to stay here, when he could have signed on with a contender as a FA, spokes volumes of him as a player and a man!

I think his game will be fine though, if he can actually stay healthy.

I don't like Drummond, but it is nice to have an inside option (Drummond), and inside-out/pick-and-pop option (Love), and perimeter options (Sexton/Garland) all at the same time. On a given night, one of these is likely to be a big advantage for us. Whether the players themselves actually make the decisions we want them to make, is another story.

I do not think it is an absurd question to ask whether Dean Wade getting most of Love's minutes would actually benefit the team.

Love is a shell of even the version we had.

There were multiple times tonight where I saw him get frustrated that he wasn’t touching the ball (not when he was wide open, which is a legit grip for any shooter) and/or deliberately trying to force the ball down to Drummond on a post up. That shit needs to stop.

This guy is done as a good basketball player. Not only is he washed physically, he's gone mentally. His heart is just not in the game anymore. He needs to do the right thing and retire. Go be a philanthropist in New York or something. At this point, he's holding back Dean Wade's career by blocking his shine. Dean Wade is the better player right now in every way except name recognition.

I'm willing to be patient with Love this year, as the rest of the team is developing nicely. He won't be missing all those jumpers he gets. I did like him under the rim late in the 2nd OT to get that foul. I did see him putting up his hands to get the ball.

I hope this organization finds a way to trade him this season or next. I'm tired of him allowing his man run free. I don't understand, why he gets a pass with most Cavs fans about his defense but these same fans will kill Sexton and Garland about theirs. It makes no sense at all.

Then,these fans will use every excuse to defend Love's bullshit. He doesn't even try to play defense,the least he can do is do that but I guess that's too much for him.
