Kelsey Russo has a nice column on Love in The Athletic.

“Then I get into training camp, and I’m like, ‘Man, I haven’t felt this good in years. I really feel amazing,’” Love said. “I think it was the break as well as all the work I put in in the offseason just to feel great and go out there and just compete and be the best for the team and my guys and for myself.”

And...

"I know I can be that guy,” Love said. “I think my impact can be huge for this team. Veteran leadership and just being Kevin Love at the end of the day. No, this was a really weird unlucky, unfortunate injury, but this is something I can definitely get through and overcome.”

“I mean, you see what he’s capable of,” Bickerstaff said. “It’s intriguing the things that you can do for him at that four spot and how difficult he can be to guard. The wherewithal to draw the fouls, I mean, like, all those things, were there. Again, need to knock the rust off of it. Need to get comfortable going back at game speed, but again, I mean, he’s going to be extremely valuable to us going down the stretch.”

Kelso finishes with this:

“I’m interested to see what we look like as a whole team,” Bickerstaff said. “And I think that’s something that we’ve been battling all year is, we haven’t seen a complete Cavaliers team on the floor. So our young guys will continue to get the reps, we will continue to prioritize that. But also, our vets and the guys that have been injured can help those guys. They can make them better basketball players. They can help stabilize them on both ends of the floor. They can take some of the pressure off of them as well. So, I’m interested to see more of what our entire team looks like.”

It sounds like he wants to play everybody, but how is that possible? In a couple of weeks or possibly less the Cavs will have Love, Wade, and Nance at the 4, Okoro, Cedi, Windler, and Prince at the 3, and Sexton, Garland, Dotson, and Cook at the guard positions with Delly possibly returning at some point.

They're probably fine at guard but with seven forwards I don't know how JBB is going to find minutes for all of them. I'm not even counting Stevens or Boldin.

Maybe I’m just cynical, but that sounds like a lot of posturing in that article. Love basically saying “Dang, I was really going to awesome, just like 5 years ago, if not for this rotten luck”. Maybe so, or maybe he’s trying to convince someone that his contract isn’t an albatross. JBB basically saying “Dang, we really could have been something this year, if not for this rotten luck”. Maybe so, or maybe he’s trying to convince everyone that his lineup choices and game management were beyond his control.

Let’s see what this team looks like after the trade deadline. That’s only 12 days from now. Hopefully this site doesn’t melt down completely from all the steaming hot piles of takes. Half of Nebraska could be fertilized with the shit posts in the past 24 hours alone.

Bolden has been released.

He's actually in uniform today?! I haven't laughed so hard in ages.
Get this guy off the team.

Did this guy hurt his vagina again?
Kevin gets paid $381,198.25 a game. We should be honored he was out there for two minutes tonight. Putting on a basketball uniform is difficult and not very stylish. I hated doing it in 4th grade.

Mr. Talc missed 105 games out of 187 games total the last three seasons.

It's Koby's job to get rid of some of this depth and turn it into assets or young players so that the guys they want to develop can get minutes. We can move off of Prince, Dotson, and McGee. I wouldn't count on Delly or Love to get healthy. If Koby can find a young scorer, my guess is Cook will sit or not be signed for the rest of the season.

REJOICE! A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE IN MARCH!

I was close to calling ingrown toenail in the 3rd quarter or cramping at halftime, but I'm going with hemorrhoid flair-up in the second.

Cavs will call it a stained groin, 4-6 week timeline.

Sooooooo close.
