Not the same, we are fans, Colangelo is a longtime team President/GM. His voice is much lowder than every voice put together on this board. Colangelo was so wrong for what he said. It will hurt him gettig free agents in the future.

Yeah what we say has no impact on whether Love is employable

Everytime I see a new comment in this thread, for a split second I dream of an announcement of his trade, or retirement. I should probably stop that.
Kev: 82 games, 18.7/11.3/2.3/.467/.361/.779
Playoffs baby!

(these are NBA2k stats predictions)

Kevin is clearly not worth his contract but if he can get reasonably healthy (big if of course) then he could be very helpful playing 18-30 mpg depending on matchups and where he fits in the rotation.

I wouldn’t totally write him off just yet. Hopefully Colangelo pissed him off and he’s ready to do something on the court.

I have completely written him off.

How the Love situation plays out is the most obvious
issue that can derail the good vibes many of us feel
going into the season.

I don't think he'll be a problem. He might have an occasional snit but that's it. A bunch of kids won't give a shit if gramps is grumpy.

If Kevin Love sees 30 minutes a game it means that Lauri and/or Mobley are injured.

It makes sense given his injuries, age, and the additions of Mobley and Markkanen. We'll see if he accepts the role and becomes more of a teacher to the younger frontcourt players.

He’s looked pretty good in the preseason - was moving and knocking down shots from three. Also made some power moves close to the basket. Obviously he’s been hampered by injuries and he’s no alpha dog but he is a very good basketball player. If we can get 18 good minutes a game from him that’s a big plus, and against second units he should do well.

I think he will be fine with it. I’m assuming he has two goals - get paid & get out of Cleveland. The best way for that to happen would be to stay healthy and look like a guy within enough left in the tank that a contender might want you at the deadline. At that point he would have already received the biggest chunk of his 21-22 salary and a buyout of the remainder might even be possible. It seems to me that playing hard, staying healthy, and being productive in reduced minutes is to his advantage.
