I can’t say it moves the needle much for me either, although I suppose it’s all relative to how much you bought into him being able to keep his head on straight in the first place.

Your right. You do not know
:) There's a lot of different ways i could go from here, but I'll just point out that it can't truly hurt that much to miss out on something that never really materialized in the first place.

To use that old tired girlfriend analogy: I'm not gonna sulk because Mila Kunis didn't marry me after the one date she let me take her on.

If I ever got to have sex with Mila Kunis I would retire my testicles afterwards.

a calf strain is painful.. and I'm speaking as an old shit who pulled his calf muscle simply by waking up and stretching his toes in bed..yep, injured by waking up *sigh*
Anyway, since the championship, Love has missed 20+ games 4 of the 5 seasons. Maybe it's bad luck, maybe it's something else, but either way those are resources tied up into a guy who's not available 25% of the time.

The Love extension was one of the worst extensions of the NBA the last decade and the one of the Cavs worst personal decisions in franchise history. Thanks Dan.

Blake Griffin and Russell Westbrook say hello.

Yeah, there are a lot of reasons this post is awful. Love was a 29 year old All Star, the Cavs would go on to pursue exactly zero free agents in the coming years... I get it that people are frustrated with his injury but we live in a reality where the Horford, Batum, Morris and Wiggins extensions all exist.

They certainly aren't going to get their $120 million worth even if he averages the 17.6/9.8 he put up last year over the last 2.5 years of the contract. The question is who they could have signed with that money. We'll never know. At this point there's a legitimate question as to whether he even plays in half the games over the 4-year life of that deal.

Keys how check you still defend an extension for one of the most injury prone players in this league?

Other plays got silly extensions too but this has been awful.
