Supposedly the 76ers are interested in trading for Love. I would mind getting a pick from Philly and maybe take a risk on Fultz.
Yeah, Philly doesn't really have anyone they'd be willing to trade.

Sacramento might be an interesting spot if they think either Bagley or Love could play Center. A trade centering on Bogdanovic and picks might be a starting point for thinking about what to try for in return. Justin Jackson, Bogdanovic, and a first? They're one of those teams with a lot of cap space next year that may lose out on several guys or want to get a vet like Love to really start a push to add a few other solid vets. Hard to say, but teams like that will be options.

Take the 76ers deal...demand 1 1st rounder and Fulton...

God send of a deal....

Remember Love has ZERO purpose here. We need to be awful for four years...

He hurts that goal....
That’s fine. Fulton. Fultz and the pick. LWe have all summer to move love. Or not. Demand the moon

I need more than that for Love. Fuck Fultz.
I don’t you get more than a mid first round pick for Love. He’s so injury prone. Idk I could be wrong, just seems everyone who needs him is teams like SAC Denver Portland 76ers Houston LAL who don’t have much to offer than a prospect and a mid pick.

Four? I'm kind of impatient. :) The 76ers spent that many seasons outside the top 10 in the east during The Process, and it remains to be seen if they're going to be able to take the next step from being bad for so long.

This season and next are the only ones that we "have" to be bad, due to the top-10 protection.

Jeez I ain’t moving Love for a late first and a guy who might be out of the league in 2 years you crazy? Love is a champion multiple allstar, one of the best stretch 4s in league history with 3 years left on his contract after this season. I’m not moving him unless it’s for a guaranteed top 10 pick, proven young talent or another allstar level player. Think about the nba draft and how many first round picks actually become solid nba players let alone all stars, I get why some people don’t like him and think his trade value isn’t that high but still he’s a solid player with a few good years left.

I’m not saying take that over an early first if you can get it, I’m saying take what you can get. The problem with Love is he’s not good enough to carry us on his own but he’s good enough to get us out of the bottom 3 which is something we don’t need to happen. By the way I’m sure if Love could’ve been flipped for a lottery pick he would’ve been gone by now.

1) Can't believe I missed Klove's return yesterday. I guess I blinked too long.

2) And noone wrote anything about it. Has everyone written Kevin Strange Love off for the year?

Kevin is an odd fit for a team in the very early stages of a rebuild. Coming back as soon as the trade deadline ended seems more than a coincidence because IMO they wanted to move him but the assets were predictably not good enough with that contract and injury. What can they get when he’s healthy because at this point he’s not even as valuable as a Tobias Harris. Could he have gotten that unprotected Miami 2021 pick from Philly?

There is also legitimate questions about his impact discussed in other threads to go along with that contract. Some are worried he might ruin the tank, but he is who he is at this point in terms of his impacts corresponding with his jumpshot. He simply doesn’t finish well enough inside to be a consistent impact player as opposed to a complimentary star. We played in a few playoff series where he was 3rd or 4th in terms of impact behind guys like Korver and Hill. He played well enough against the Warriors to his credit outside of game 4 but JR really tanked the teams effort all series so it’s all a blur for me.

I like his signing and wanted him to play this year but with about 25 games left they might as well try to be extra cautious with him :) Even though the odds are bad for everyone in the lottery now, I'd like them to finish in the bottom three. This gives the best chance (albeit slight) for the #1 overall and if not gaining that, shouldn't finish worst than 7th.

I know the pros and cons of keeping vs trading Love, but man, it's nice having a good player or two around for this reason:

"While sidelined, Love has tried to help in other ways, watching film and providing feedback. He’s even let Sexton know the difference between good and bad shots. Love has been an extra set of eyes, the trusted leader he vowed to become prior to the season.

I think Love gets what the organization is doing and he signed a long term contract so it only makes sense for him to help the young guys get better. It also makes sense to work his way back slowly so we have a better draft pick to give him another potential good teammate.

I saw Nance's interview about the trades and getting draft picks back. He said he understands what Koby is doing but to bring it up, his tone, and give sound bites just doesn't make sense. Just like Love, Nance is also signed on long term and it only benefits him if we get the assets to make this team better. He just doesn't seem onboard with helping guys develop or developing himself to what this team will need.

Man Kevin has been killing it. Great game tonight . He was always crucial against the Raptors. He is playing a very high level game right now. I mean how was Minnesota Kevin Love better? Kevin is pulling down mid teens in boards on the reg.

His defense with Zizic has been really good at denying penetration. I like them starting.

They were joking about the outlet passes, but that has been so good for Collin . He and Cedi both get down the floor quick.

That early attack wears teams out, and Collin looks like he can do it basically all game. That is a really nice way to unlock Collin.

Love gettin' that trade value up!

King/Magic: U watching?

I don't want to trade Kevin Love unless it's for a better version of Kevin Love. This team is the opposite of a tank with him on it. and now that he has his Minnesota AND LeSystem skills in tow...

No way should the Cavs trade him outside of an overwhelming return. The Cavs can compete for the playoffs next year with a mostly full season of healthy Love and a productive enough offseason. Let's get a little luck in the lottery, get the coach right, and see what can happen. Screw trading Love just because and screw tanking.
