Time to trade him to Portland while they're feeling good about Melo having a nice game..
I once thought the Cavs would trade Love, but now I’m convinced they won’t, even if it makes sense. Love likes it in Cleveland and the Cavaliers brass wants him around for the rebuild, setting a good example for the young guys.
The guys who are likely to be moved are Knight, Clarkson, Henson, & Thompson, if he balks at signing an extension. The Cavs will be looking for draft picks, similar to the deals involving George Hill & Alex Burks.
What good example? On how to play like an overpaid lethargic pussy?
Sorry for the language.
It's pretty clear he's disinterested and spends about 0% effort on the defensive end and barely gets across half-court line. On most nights I can't tell if his poor performance is due to lack of effort, his body breaking down or both. However it’s much uglier and downright unwatchable during his nights off.
Ouch. Love is fragile & always has been. You can’t count on a full season from the guy. When healthy he will contribute and be a good leader. What good example? On how to play like an overpaid lethargic pussy?

The Cavs won’t trade him because they want his veteran leadership, his contract is an albatross, and no team will ever come close to offering what the Cavs think he’s worth.
Well, he hasn't been a good leader this year and there is no proof that he was ever a good, vocal leader -- not on the Wolves and not on the Cavs. He may be viewed as a "leader" by our rookies only by definition of being on a championship team.
Cavs won't trade him because they want high value. That's all. If he doesn't give any effort that's not good, and lately the Cavs havn't played well with him because of his ridiculous low effort.
He brought the whole team to NY for workouts before training camp. He has talked to Garland a few times early in the season with his struggles. He may not be the best leader but he is trying. He's just low key about everything and not a vocal guy with the media.
He is trying.. I'll give him that. Atleast on some parts of leading. Doesnt look like it on the court though
Just watched the interview with KLove at practice today and I got to say, I have the feeling he has asked for a trade behind the scenes. I know he understands what was going to happen when he signed the long term contract, but his demeanor seems like it is worse than he expected. This is just my observation and opinion, so I have no evidence or inside info. Maybe it is the injury that has added to it but he didn’t have that normal KLove attitude. Anyone else think so?
Portland has zilch to offer us. The "Love to Portland" narrative is something that everybody thinks they'll just will into existence.Time to trade him to Portland while they're feeling good about Melo having a nice game..
