Teasing and not actually performing has kind of been his thing in recent years.
You mean teasing like the May 12 game this year against Boston?

34 minutes, 30 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 10-for-16 from the field

Or maybe like the May 1 game against Miami?

29 minutes, 25 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 9-for-14 from the field

I'm hoping with six months to further recover from the end of last season he'll be teasing us a little more often this year.

If he was teasing more often, then it wouldn't be teasing. It's the occasional glimpses of what he could give us coupled with the failure to deliver that consistently that makes it a tease.

He‘s been hurt and it looks chronic. He had some good games but most games he didn’t play and the ones he did he was a shadow of himself.

I don’t blame him for his body breaking down but I think it‘s unlikely he’ll be a reliable starter. My guess is we get 18-24 minutes out of him off the bench and he plays maybe 60 games. He didn’t look good in the exhibition games and the NBA is back on in about three months.

I think the Cavs would be ecstatic to get 60 games at 18-24 minutes per game. Especially if his production per minute would increase a bit with fewer minutes.

Love being like Milsap has been for Denver is something that would be real nice for this team. It would allow us to take a swing like Denver did with MPJ if we level up next year.

The Cavs need to buy Love out. There’s no way I can see him entering the 2021-22 season as a Cavalier.

60?????

The last time Love made it to 60 games was when he was 28. He'll be 33 next year. Two of the last three seasons he's played 25 or less. If the over/under on games played for Love next year was 40 the under would look pretty sweet at this point.

I've always been in the "don't buyout Love or package him with an asset just to get him off the roster" camp but it's coming down to a respect issue. Does he still have the respect of the guys on the Cavs roster? I don't know that answer but I do know you can't be a veteran leader if nobody respects you.

Why does he need to be a vet leader? I dont want to give up an asset or future cap space to get rid of him now. No stretch, no assets, just let him sit a year and half, buy him out after trade deadline his final year.

Nothing else makes sense to me.

Because he'd still have contact with this young team, he'd still be capable of leaking information to harm the front office. Just a disaster waiting if you tell him to sit on the bench and if you tell him to sit at home until he's bought out in 18 months... this franchise already has an image problem around the league.

Do you think he would do the Blake Griffin move or will he not give back a dime in a buyout scenario?

Thank you for your concern! Yeah I'm great, Kevin contract and this whole situation is not. But please enlighten us farther with you medicinal thoughts on chugging sperm, since you seem to be an expert.
Ok, just checkin.

Pine scented sperm from Ralph Lauren with the added pheromones is where it’s at. I actually like to collect the little sample bottles!

@BiGZD I think you're sorely mistaken here.

@The Oi is a connoisseur. He sips and savors his semen. He doesn't chug it like some uncultured swine. Put some respect on this man's name!
Thanks!
