I dont want to trade to get a point guard. We will just be spinning the wheels, getting a good player but giving up several other pieces. Wait until FA.

I heard a strong rumor that we are locked in on Luke Ridnour. I like. We should be able to get him cheap!
Of the dozens of PG rumors we've heard over the past year, Luke Ridnour IS one of the most expendable PGs in the league right now. Seattle's PG tandem destiny is Delonte West backed up by Earl Watson. It's like they're trying every possible combination beforehand to say it didn't work...

And the Ridnour injury just prolongs the obvious...they can't have a 4-year floor general rotting away on the bench. He is trade bait in the worst way.

I'd take him in a heartbeat, because we already have the type of PG Ridnour needs to back him up- a defensive hawk in Snow, who could be limited to 12-15 MPG.

I JUST got back from the Nets-Blazers game here in Portland, and I must say, after watching JKidd in person for the first time, the guy is f'ing unbelievable. Another triple-double tonight. I thought that he was one of those guards who just tracked down long rebounds, which is why he got a lot of boards, but that isn't true. The guy isn't afraid to go in there and sky over 7-footers for the rebound, and he had a huge offensive rebound that he just took out of the hands of a Trail Blazer (forgot who it was) to seal the game for the Nets.

We get J-Kidd in here, and we're back to being favorites in the East. JKidd plus LeBron is unfair. Freaking unfair. Forget Boston.

Worked out this 3 way to get Kidd. Would require us to take back Boozer though.

kidd wants to go west
I was just looking at a map and as it turns out Cleveland is actually West of New Jersey. not to mention we are right on lake Erie so it is really no different then LA with their Pacific Ocean. LOL

anyhow I think we all can agree it would be very good if the Cavaliers could somehow land Jason Kidd. not only can he play and do the things we need but I believe his wife is hot, always a bonus. how to go about getting him is another matter. it seems to me it would take a 3rd team to get in the mix who is looking for some expiring deals. I guess the Cavs could try and trade straight up but really other then Varejao what can the Cavaliers offer? not sure the Nets would even want Boobie being they already have their PG waiting in the wings.

of all the rumors about Kidd, Bibby, Miller, and Ridnour by far my least favorite is Ridnour but that seems to be the most realistic. personally I don't think much of his "game".

Damn right he is, he's one of the best in the NBA.

You really think he's going to come back to this place when fans would take his head off. And you really think this city is going to forgive him?
