Hayes' impressive physical tools and dynamic offensive game make him one of few players in this draft with the look of a top pick, but like Edwards and Ball his efficiency and consistency raise some question marks. Discuss away.

I really like him. Think he’s top 5 and easily the best international prospect

I like Ball, but have to say I'm a bit confused as to why he's consistently slotted above Hayes in mocks. Is it just a name recognition thing? Definitely think there's a case for Hayes as the #1 guy.

I posted something similar in one of the draft/scouting threads a while.

Hayes was in a tougher league and inarguably performed better.

If you want to argue Ball has more upside, fine, that's subjective. Hayes certainly appears to be the better player right now though.

I think they’re about even personally but I think Hayes is the safer pick which might sound crazy but he doesn’t seem to have a stand out weakness like Ball does with that shot.
The league Ball was in is super physical which is harder on young players than older players so he did pretty damn well in my opinion, he did better than I was expecting

Yeah, Ball had sneaky good rebounding numbers, and his assist:TO numbers also beat out Hayes. Hayes probably a safer bet as a shooter and as a defender at PG/SG. Easy to imagine either of them ending up as the clear best player in this draft a few years down the road.

Getting lightskinned Luka vibes. As always, the ability to score will dictate his ceiling. Liked what I saw in that video.

His handle is a bit odd. Has an exaggerated carrying motion that I could see getting called.
