How do you expect/suggest the Cleveland Cavaliers, whose best free agent signing (aside from the fluke of the guy more 45min away coming "home") is Larry Hughes, to get those 2 superstars?
Arguably the least talented roster in the league... nailed it.
I do appreciate the optimism though. I mean that sincerely.
With TT gone this was an obvious lie and i can easily name the Kings, Hornets, Bulls, and the Pistons as teams with a roster that is just trash like oursArguably the least talented roster in the league... nailed it.

Wouldn't say he nailed it. Also wouldn't say he didn't. There are too many unknowns still.
Can Sexton take the next steps? His assists were beginning to climb at the end of the year - as were turnovers. Can he continue to grow those assists as he plays off ball while minimizing turnovers? Can he play at least average D at the 2? If both of those are yes - Sexton will get his extension and Altman will get credit. Potential A for Altman - though worse if he does not finish development and they get burdened with a big contract.
Garland gets a mulligan. He was never 100% last year IMHO and it was really his Freshman year. Incomplete.
Dylan Windler. Injured. Will he play? If he can turn into a nice rotational piece, it's a win. Incomplete for now, but with potential like Garland.
Kevin Porter Jr. We know his off the court issues. We also know his potential. Lots of wildcards and lots of upside, still Incomplete.
Dean Wade. Limited time in Cleveland, but I think he showed he has some potential to become a rotational stretch 4. Still Incomplete.
Okoro. Love the pick. Brings defensive toughness an a great work ethic. If he can develop a good three point shot, could be quite good. Even so, Incomplete.
Which is all why it is too soon to judge Altman one way or the other. We need larger sample sizes for most everyone. I am encouraged by Sexton and definitely see the potential (also like other pickups like Matthews, etc). My hope is he see growth and the team wins 25-30 this year with a lot of close losses because they just don't know how to finish. They then can add a high pick in a loaded draft to the mix and then look to take a step next season. If THAT happens, I think Altman deserves a lot of credit.
I'm sorry (I don't know about the Bulls, Hornets and Pistons) but living here in Sac I can tell you that the Kings have a way better roster than ours (at almost every position)!!!!With TT gone this was an obvious lie and i can easily name the Kings, Hornets, Bulls, and the Pistons as teams with a roster that is just trash like ours
What the hell are you talking about?
WorldDid you read the post, or just wanted to comment?
Lets go through an exercise. Other than Lebron James "coming home," who is the best free agent signing in franchise history?

“Arguably” simply means in the conversation, which I don’t think is deniable. With TT gone this was an obvious lie and i can easily name the Kings, Hornets, Bulls, and the Pistons as teams with a roster that is just trash like ours
