Did Koby Altman nail the rebuild?

I don't think Koby gave up too much. He had to strike when the door was open. If Utah would have gone back to the Knicks one more time this deal wouldn't have happened. Altman did what he needed to do, at the exact moment when he needed to do it.
Too much ? We basically got Mitchell Laurie sexton barely played last year, abjabi wasnt here. The draft choices will be in the 20's
We basically are adding DM to last years crew. We now have 4 all star level players starting. Still a short backcourt but starting Okoro will help the defense and then there are always allen and mobley at the rim

Why are you replying to my post instead of the people who are saying we overpaid?

He supposedly made the offer, said they weren't including any of our core 3, and they came back to him for it when Knicks signed Barrett. If he tried to change it then, it would have been the same bad faith that lost the Knicks the deal

The way I see it is that a window of opportunity cracked open, and Altman jumped right through it, didn't waste any time, and slammed it shut behind him to keep the Knicks from being able to counter.

Berry essentially did the same thing in the Watson trade. I think 2 out of the 3 Cleveland owners and GMs are getting tired of always getting left overs or left out. The Guardians are committed to the long haul grass roots rebuild which I can also respect. But it's nice to see owners and GMs pulling out all the stops to augment franchises they've already invested heavily in, and both the Browns and Cavs have done so. It's like they're tired of screwing around.

Yeah he did the same thing with Allen. Got it done in under 24hrs.

It's good we have a decisive GM. I even think the Clarkson/Hood/Nance trade was the right move. Hood and Clarkson choked in the playoffs tho. It gave the team a chance.

Think how many NBA teams just stay in the doldrums for decades never giving their fans even one really exciting year. Knicks, Orlando, Wizards (at least they make the playoffs occasionally), Kings, Hornets, Pistons since like 2006 or 2007. We have an exciting team now. We’ll have to wait and see how exciting - are we more like Atlanta or Chicago or up there with Boston — but I feel good about it.

We've got Caris, Jarrett and Rubio (Tayshaun Prince) and the Nets have Ben Simmons and his max contract.

Koby is just killing it. Four out of our five starters were Koby specials - two from the Nets, a brass balls all in trade for Spyda and a two way free agent.

Garland gets back and we're going to be a problem for the NBA.

I'm not sure Primo would sign with anyone right now. His public statement says he's working on his mental health and will probably be hit with a hard rebuke from the NBA if he tried to sign with another team.

I will be interested to hear more about his story. He may have been sexually abused as a child and that does make people do some unusual things like opening your trench coat to women. I dont know enough about it to pass judgement, but he might be worthy of a second chance as far away as possible from Texas.
