I can't wait for the day Kyrie gets a legitimate running mate who he can actually trust in the clutch. We will be a much better team with another really good player to pair with Irving. It will make Kyrie better as well. Also can't wait for when we start playing on national TV again so the world can see this kids talent. Hopefully it happens soon and takes some pressure off Kyrie, I believe that's why he has to do it all in the 4th.. because his teammates aren't good enough to produce in the clutch and he has to do everything. (Partly true)

Reactionary post.

Someone already posted Dion's per36 numbers in the 4th quarter. He's more than a viable option late in games. I don't understand posts like this. He had an off shooting night, no doubt, but he still played pretty good defense and didn't let his poor shooting night affect his effort on the floor.

Moreover, TT has made some pretty clutch shots late in games, as have Jarrett Jack, and Anderson Varejao.

Yesterday's game against the Warriors left me feeling better than usual over a loss. Yes, we lost but seeing Kyrie trust his teammates in the 4th quarter was reassuring. Even though they didn't take advantage of their opportunities, this is the type of play we need from Kyrie late in games to get better as a team. Kyrie should pick and choose his spots, like he did. This keeps the defense on its heels while at the same time it doesn't take his teammates out of the game. I thought it was a good balance of Kyrie and the rest of the team in the 4th quarter and OT...had we not missed easy shots we would've easily won the game.
