It was not webber that killed us, it was guard play. Positions 1&2

Philadelphia 40 Cleveland 7

We just cannot survive that way.. Yeah Gooden gets owned by Webber most of the time, but Webber plays 41 minutes because there is no one else. We play drew 18 minutes and Marshall 30, and on the net we win vs weber. It is in the back court that we just get cleaned by these guys.

Look at our production by position and it is the two guard spots that give up an average 15 points differential per game.

Chris Webber should not have that many points, not anywhere close to what he did tonight. His leg is dangling by a couple of loose tendons and he abused drew badden. JOKE.

Luckily it almost can't happen, but I wouldn't want the Cavs to have to face the 76ers in the playoffs. Cavs haven't shown they can stop Iverson, Webber and Iguodala this season.

Pathetic performance from the Cavs G's tonight. Sasha had probably his best game as a Cav last night then comes out and plays like crap tonight. Jones had an invisible 31 minutes on the court and Snow contributed a little early and then nothing.

Doesn't make much sense to me that on a night when Z dominated the 1st half that you would then ignore him for the 1st 17 minutes of the 2nd half. Cavs didn't look to Z at all the 1st 6 minutes of the 3rd quarter then for some unknown reason Mike Brown sits Z for the next 11 minutes. Cavs reverted to their old habit of coming down, not running offense, and jacking up 20 foot jumpers for most of the 3rd quarter. I don't know why the coaching staff doesn't immediately put a stop to this as soon as it starts.

One thing that killed the Cavs was the final plays of the 1st 3 quarters where they either let Philly get easy points or blew a chance to score themselves.

I can't put total blame on Gooden for Webber's performance tonight. Drew only played 19 minutes so there's plenty of blame to go towards other Cavs big men. Gooden was playing well both offensively and on the boards so 19 minutes doesn't seem like enough to me.

You gotta contain someone out there. AI, AI2, and Webber all had huge games. It woulda been okay for Webber to go off, he normally does. He mighta been injured like crazy, but the guy can still play. This is a game we missed Hughes a lot, who woulda been a better matchup defensively than Sasha. AV was a spark, but 6 fouls that quick really hurt. Also, there were a bunch of the little things that just didn't go right, inability to hit free throws came back again, and then there was the sloppy end of quarters. When the opposing team has the ball with 5 seconds left, you gotta force a bad shot at least. Its stuff like that which leads to road losses.
