L Cleveland 87 Portland 89

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Re: Cleveland @ Portland

I'm shocked at how Cleveland has no easy plays to run. If James had shot the ball, he would have attempted a Dajuan Wagner-like floater in the lane. Granted, that's not a terrible shot but come clutch time, there has to be a better way. Bad situation all-around.

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

Any Cav fan that predicts a loss and gives up on the team with many minutes to play is weak........

I do think LBJ may have been scared......why do yall think he bites his nails.....hes only human......

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

And LeFemme call me ignorant!

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

I think tonight is a perfect example as to why Coach Brown should start to dust off his offensive playbook.....

Cause these boys are not running an offense....

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

Oh, name calling..... Ouch....

Give me the business... Don't play to my strengths....

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

Yep, this one hangs on Browns head. He had two chances and failed miserably to call a decent play!

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

Way to draw up that last play mike brown! Have eric snow take a 20 footer!

I give up.

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

You cant blame it on Coach. Mike may diagram the play, but the players have to execute. LeBron should have taken the shot to send it to OT. He will start making them eventually. Growing Pains i guess......

Re: Cleveland @ Portland

Good nite Cavalier fans.......no worries mates......far more important things than losing a basketball game there are........

Re: W Cleveland 87 Portland 89

Our bench has been disgraceful basically every game except opening night vs New Orleans. Remember how they played that game? I was so excited and now I pretty much figure we will battle it out with Dillwaukee for the 3rd spot in the Central from here on out.

Re: W Cleveland 87 Portland 89

LeFemme?

Um, same story as the past three games. We had our chances, blew easy opportunities earlier, got nuthin' from the bench, and choked at the end (in that way Phoenix was even worse). Henderson wasn't bad defensively, but we need some scoring from that position. I know he used to start for the Hawks...you know, the Hawks.

Re: W Cleveland 87 Portland 89

A long J would have been out of the question, the guys obviously didn't have the legs left at that point to make anything beyond 15 feet, especially Eric Snow. If Lebron drove in, he probably would have got the call, and the game would have hung on a couple free throws.

Can't blame the Cavs though, they played a hard fought game, but you can tell they were tired from Phoenix the night before. Lebron had pretty much nothing left in the second half. Z was on fire, but Portland finally adjusted and no one else was really hitting.

Damon Jones seems to be out of his slump. The Blazers weren't overly quick so he didn't get exposed defensively either. I woulda liked to see more Luke out there, and more AV instead of Alan Henderson, who was getting outplayed. Gooden was missed here definately.

Re: W Cleveland 87 Portland 89

I'm getting sick of this team forgetting they have a 7-3 offensively talented C and instead continue to jack up 20 footers and 3 pointers. I have to blame the coaching staff for continuing to let this happen. Brown also has to be more flexible and not stick with his preset ways. Z was on fire last night in the 3rd but Brown stuck with the pattern and took him out halfway through the quarter. The Cavs than went away from Z and it was never the same offensively. I don't see any harm in letting Z stay in another 2-3 minutes.

If I'm a Cavs opponent then I'm going to play physical with LeBron. Last night once Patterson got physical, LeBron settled mostly for perimeter shots and didn't take it strong inside as much. The same type of thing seems to happen when he goes against Artest.

I noticed Damon Jones yelling "I'm back" after hitting his 3 3 pointers last night. Immediately after he said it Jarrett Jack blew past him and Jones proceeded to miss his next 3 shots. Not sure what he's back to.

I don't know what's happened to Marshall. He's not the same player he was early in the season and not playing the same way. He needs to get back to the more versatile offensive game he had, cut down on the 3's, and hit the boards.

This road trip isn't looking good. It might be shaping up to be 0 for 6.

I sure miss the old days of Lenny Wilkens when the Cavs would come out of timeouts with great plays and playcalling and had a great offensive system in place. Mike Brown has a ways to go and looks like an in over his head rookie at times.

I didn't give up I watched the damn game like I always do, I can't ever turn it off, but when Z was out we sucked and he can't go 48 so obviously we were going to lose..we play like shit on the road and as of late it wasn't hard to predict. Not a naysayer just a realist.

You are a great Cavs fan CDT. Im all for realism as well, but we had a chance in this game until the end, and could have won. Now if were down to SA by 20 in the 4th, id say its over. My optimism has its limits.

I try to believe in the Cavalier best, because i know thoughts are creative, and may have a small impact on the game if enough people believe strongly enough.

I have noticed from personal experience it seems easier to believe in things outside of yourself, than your self. Its only a game, so i dont take it too seriously, which makes it easier to believe.
