Hell of a find by Altman.

Finds like Stevens, Wade and maybe even Goodwin eventually if he gets enough experience…are what separate treadmill GMs from elite GMs. Dirt Cheap talent /production to put around your big money players is so important. Depth, for the 82 game season…etc.

So good.

He’s got some PJ Tucker in him… I’m all in on Stevens…

That block Stevens had on Giannis (incorrectly called a foul) was so sick. How many dudes in the league even attempt to make that play? Much less wings. Dude is a junkyard dog and it's good to have a player like that on the team.

I wanted coach to challenge that call, so did Lamar. Giannis went to the line 3 straight times and neither looked like much of a foul.

Lamar was a good call as Middleton is so damn long and has such a nice stroke over everyone, Stevens is the right defender on him.
Love Lamar, he's been a great story for us. The ref's need to learn how to let a call go (especially one that doesn't happen like that), that was a signature moment that should have been allowed to exist.

Guys like Giannis can just bulldoze their way into 3 guys and get the call every time regardless of anything else. Middleton is so damn talented he can be unstoppable with some of his patented moves. Same for Portis, the guy is just long, strong, experienced and talented.

it was so awesome seeing our team get the upper hand over the Bucks in spite of all these factors.

I wish the refs would let the contact go when the offense initiates like Giannis does. I mean, ok, you can move the guy 2' off his spot with your shoulder (which is illegal per the fucking rule book), but now you live with the consequences if he's still able to contest.

Hey, I coined the phrase calling Stevens a Junk Yard Dog and you have to site me as the source anytime you use it. :fuyou 1:

I love Middleton's game so much. We are a Middleton away from being true contenders imo this year. Honestly as young as we are and as good as we are, we might be just a couple of years with this core getting more experienced from being contenders....but damn would Middleton look great at SF (no offense to Lauri, I like him, just Middleton is better, lol)

Guys like Middleton can bring home titles. Size, toughness, shooting, scoring, facilitating - he's just a really good overall basketball player.
