Has a career 143-167 record as a head coach, which is a bit skewed by the 13-14 season where he coached an awful Milwaukee team. Was a solid guy for the Hawks from 2010-2013, but nothing special.

Discuss.

Almost a certainty that he maintains status quo philosophy, rotations, etc. boss is still looming AFAWK

Not much to discuss until he gets a few games under his belt . I’m sure we’ll see the status quo of personal attacks and lame jokes .

13-0

Relentless full court pressure defensively. 4 pass minimum offensive sets.

Well I mean, he just has so many infinite great options to go to that Lue was ignoring with Nance, Hood, Cedi, TT and possibly Korver still out.

Not expecting much of anything to be honest, to me he comes across as an old timer that does not care much about modern basketball or analytics, more of an old school coach with the usual "play harder" or "stop being pussies" kind of guy.

Part of the incompetent staff that led us to this point of having one of the worst defenses in the league and an LeBron/ISO heavy offense without any creativity, man movement or ball movement, strong advocate of cleaning house and removing the entire staff next season.

With that being said, hopefully I'm wrong and Larry Drew goes full Steve Kerr on the team and completely reshapes the offense and defense, which is of course a pipe dream hes probably not going to teach or add anything new to the team this late into the season, my guess is he'll probably just be a rotation manager untill Lue comes back.

If I'm Drew it's my chance to make things work, based on who's available to play. Screw all that allegiance to Lue stuff for the most part. Get the matchups right and play anybody who's hot. Show us that you been paying attention to what's not working.

The worry I have with Larry Drew is, he might want to ride LeBron 40+ mins a game in hope to win all the games and look to impress GMs and owners that he can be a NBA head coach now.

Can't believe you guys are worried about our offense.

Our offense is elite. Even with all the drama, injuries, turnover of so many new pieces, we still have a Top-5 offense and this is with us missing our 2nd best player for almost half a season and LeBron not activating his playoffs mode.

The defense is the major worry and has been for more than over a year.

But the question is, what's the difference?
