Eh, don't agree with that. No one made the Cavs sign up for this this time. THey had multiple other ways they could have gone. They could have went all-in and traded for Giannis and hoped to convince him not to be a rental.

They could have went slightly less all-in and traded for Jaylen Brown.

They passed on those options to do this with James. If he goes elsewhere, they own that this time.
 
Windy said Cavs were hesitant to trade Mobley because of the possibility of losing Mitchell. Now that Mitchell is signed, I wonder if that changes things if the right player comes along.

Windy was also on record saying Mitchell wouldn't extend this year. I don't think Windy is as plugged in as he used to be.

No idea! I'm just speaking from a Cavs point of view.
Teams have made some interesting moves because of the new CBA. Gilbert has been willing to pay the price thus far.
I don't know what's to come. Just wondering.
 
LeBron is trying to dictate, but outside the Warriors, its not working. Its either join as is, or retire.
 
Bron should join cavs and retire after, it makes sense.

The organization? Sure. Us fans? We did not sign up for this ride. We're the ones getting strung along, and we're the ones that might burn a jersey or two in protest if he goes elsewhere. We don't own this, but much like the proverbial child of divorce, we get stuck holding the bag if this goes wrong.

That type of extension doesn’t come together same day..

If they didn’t trade Mobley, it’s likely more a reflection on Mobley than Mitchell..

I think that start and ended with giannis. Now that he’s traded Idk who the next disgruntled star is that could want out.
