LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
It sucks that cousins got injured for him
and the nba, but I definitely don’t feel bad for the Lakers. I think Lakers will make the playoffs (barring major injury) and then my fantasy is seeing the clippers or warriors take them down. Seeing lebron win another championship would be cool, but I would rather see kawhi be the first to 3 championships with 3 different teams than Lebron. He squeezed every bit of juice out of the Cavs organization and it’s going to happen to LA without the benefit of a championship. The cousins injury really screwed them.
I want to see the Lakers taken down to but you lost me with the Warriors. I can go the rest of my days without seeing them knock anyone out.

If they still had Durant I’d feel differently, because that was just unfair, but something about dray/klay/steph proving they can take down lebron and AD makes it more bearable to me. If you had to pick Lakers or warriors winning a chip, which way do you lean?

Fascinating convo with an assistant college b-ball coach at a upper echelon Power 5 school today.

Said the underrated aspect of Rich Paul isn’t that he runs the NBA through LeBron, it’s that he runs the NCAA through Klutch.

He said RIch Paul convinces two of best players in 2021 and 2022 classes (and more to come) to enroll out in Cali. He said he’s made (2) private schools out there, essentially academies that will then filter into KY, Duke, or UNC. He said most schools aren’t even wasting time at the schools because everything is pre-arranged.

The most interesting thing to me wasn’t any bitterness towards then arrangement. It was respect. He said LeBron and Rich Paul are so far ahead of the curb it’s crazy. They’re going to dominate top 5-10 picks in NBA draft for next decade. He said it’s a matter of minutes before completing agencies set up similar strategies at private HS elsewhere but Klutch is killing it. They target too 5-10 recruits, try to get them to transfer to Cali, and then have their hooks in them come NBA representation.

Just thought it was interesting...,..

Ok, time to fire up the Lebron/Laker talk again. Watching the Laker game last night, if that team stays healthy i dont see anyone beating them. I know, it was just a preseason game, but their size is going to be a real problem for teams. Kuzma didnt even play. Imagine if Cousins didnt get hurt. Thats a flatout superteam. On to GS, whew. Long year for those boys. I really dont even know if they are a playoff team. Absolutely no bench, no size. Draymond is really in store for hard times this year. It really is a beautiful sight to see.

Settle down, Joe. It's preseason. Cousins was a net negative for GS last year and likely would have been for LA this year as well. Kuzma is average. Golden State was missing 3/4 of their big man rotation, and most of all, IT WAS PRESEASON.

What do you think their starting linup is with a healthy Kuzma? AD doesnt want to play center, but you dont start Dwight just to have AD avoid center and bench Kuzma do you?

I think that AD and Javale are almost an impossible duo to guard with Lebron running the point. If AD becomes a good corner 3pt shooter, it's over.

Also, Lebron never had the luxury of giving someone so efficient the ball and just rest on offense. He has that in AD. That means he will probably be better on D. He also never had someone that can roll as good as AD and at the same time be a great pop threat. Then you have Javale/Howard crashing the boards. That's crazy.

People forgot how good Anthony Davis is because of last year's trade drama. He's a monster.

Alright, you guys laughing at me will see. That Laker team is deep too. I know its pre-season and a lot can happen during the course of a season, but when i look at all those other Western Conference teams they just dont have an AD/ Lebron combo. Kawhi/George is close, but i seriously have my doubts on that duo staying healthy. Look, i hope i am wrong and the Lakers tank, but i dont see it happening. I see them as the top seed in the West barring a birage of injuries.
And Derek, Boogie was coming off that achilles tear. It usually takes guys a couple years to get truly come back from those. I believe he would have been much better this year.
Lee, thats a good question. I say its, PG-Lebron, SG-Green, SF-Kuzma, PF-Davis, C-Mcgee. Thats my bet.

Actually, Achilles tears have typically been career enders. Everybody that has had one returned as a shell of themselves with the exception of Nique.

Plus, he got hurt again toward the end of last season. There’s a reason nobody was ready to throw money at him.

The Lakers are not deep, but LBJ/AD are superb enough to carry them to a ship if all goes correctly.
