LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
lol at the nba, lbj and the rest of woke players for not speaking out about human rights abuses in China. Guess the Houston GM learned that dollars are the important
thing.

They project that losing China's business would lower the salary cap by 10 to 15 percent, so I doubt you'll see many players speak out.

Alright, you guys laughing at me will see. That Laker team is deep too. I know its pre-season and a lot can happen during the course of a season, but when i look at all those other Western Conference teams they just dont have an AD/ Lebron combo. Kawhi/George is close, but i seriously have my doubts on that duo staying healthy. Look, i hope i am wrong and the Lakers tank, but i dont see it happening. I see them as the top seed in the West barring a birage of injuries.
And Derek, Boogie was coming off that achilles tear. It usually takes guys a couple years to get truly come back from those. I believe he would have been much better this year.
Lee, thats a good question. I say its, PG-Lebron, SG-Green, SF-Kuzma, PF-Davis, C-Mcgee. Thats my bet.

Lakers are incredibly shallow and injury-prone. AD is fragile, Kuzma, their only player besides AD who is both young and good, is injured already and had to leave the World Cup, Lebron is old, Green is old. Javale McGee has broken his leg twice and is over 30 and they are counting on him for significant minutes. Hell, their frontcourt is so thin they need Dwight Howard to come up big for them! (And he's another guy who could break down at any time).

Lebron-AD healthy and together are the best two-player combination in the league but past those two they get really thin really fast. Hell, even if their supporting cast all stayed healthy they would *still* be short on supporting talent after their Big Two. Jared Dudley, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso, Avery Bradley, Dwight Howard, Quinn Cook, Kyle Kuzma, Javale Mcgee...reads like a big list of has-beens and never-weres. They have a Big Two and then a bunch of guys who wouldn't be starters on most contending teams.

I would be astounded if the Lakers make it to the Finals.

Were you supportive of them when they spoke out on police brutality, or is this just trying to make them look hypocritical for not speaking on something they have less familiarity with?

Lakers are going to be too reliant on people who don't have great injury track records this season.

Boogie is already done. Dwight could pull a muscle in his back taking a shit tomorrow. Anthony Davis leaves a game to go to the locker room twice a week. Avery Bradley isn't the healthiest guy ever. Rondo breaks his hand every year. Even the almighty LeBron James was dinged up a lot last season.

If they find a way to keep the major guys (LBJ/AD) healthy all season long, then I think they're talented enough to win the whole thing. That's a huge if though with the track record of most of that roster.
Rondo breaks his hand every year because he is a cheap shot expert (a la dray/pachulia). Am I the only one who suspected Rondo reinjured kyries face before even seeing the video? Seriously. Watch the video, he is such a POS. The Lakers deserve him and hopefully we get to watch him break down along with the whole team :)

Lakers look like dogshit man
Lebron can't finish under the basket. He needs to some lessons from Zion.

Yeah, I'm sure one of the top 2 players ever to play the game needs lessons from a rookie.

Not saying that he needs lessons per se, but at this point he is on another level as a finisher. Even as a rookie.

He reminds me a bit of Lebron when he was young actually in that aspect. He's just so big and strong yet he's so nimble and can move and jump so fast.
I had my doubts on if his game would translate well to the NBA but it's looking really good.

Much stronger. He is more explosive in tight spaces and on the roll. but Lebron way faster without the ball filling the lanes and with the ball on the break. Also Lebron was more explosive attacking with the ball out of triple threat. But it's just apparent that without the ball Zion has that limp and he almost jogs on breaks without the ball which is disappointing.

Zion is just the best finisher I have seen for his size. Has centers bouncing off him and he remains completely vertical.

I'm worried about his gait and hips, but if he remains healthy he has the chance to be top 3 most dominant player ever.

I’ll say it here now: I don’t see the Lakers even making the WCF, let alone taking the championship. They are just too weak after their Big Two. Too many key players are veteran reclamation projects or guys who are one cut above the D-league.
