LeBron James

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
lol this site is trying to protect LBJ. they have erased two of my posts!!

LeBron actually trying during the regular season now is hilarious because he feels threatened by Luka, Kawhi, and Giannis. Lmao
I 100% applaud him for his off the court charity/staying out of trouble.

But what you said sounds exactly right to me. I can't remember the last time Lebron showed this kind of effort before Christmas.

Or, he's actually trying because he just had the longest rest he's had since he was 20 years old and he has a top 5 superstar in Davis to carry the load.
If I were a betting man, I'd venture to guess we still see his patented malaise in January

It looks like he's on a mission to show he's still got it after last year's debacle, but I doubt he maintains this energy through the entire season.

I don't expect him to keep up this level throughout the season, but I do think he'll keep the effort level above what we got used to seeing in the regular season from him. Like you said, I think he's on a mission after everything that happened during the past 10 months or so. That, and he wants AD to stay with LA after the season so he's on his best behavior.

And I agree with @JMoneyYourHoney about the Lakers trying to pile up wins early on so that they can relax down the road.

All i am hearing today is this, Lebron trying to prove he isnt washed narrative. Ok, who in the media ever said Lebron was washed up? Maybe a few dumb fans in the Twitter comment sections, but i never heard anyone really imply that in the media. A few talking heads might have wondered how he would play in his 17th season, but washed? Most Cavs fans knew he was going to go balls out this year and still play at the same old Lebron level.
The only thing i have ever questioned his if his body will hold up through mid-June. This whole " washed" thing seems a little made up to me.

^LeBron has been pretty disrespected by both fans and the media since last year....like always, they've tried to spell his demise by harping on his injury and his "failure" to lead that cast of rejects to the playoffs.

Fans, talking heads and even executives have been crowning Kawhi as "Best in the NBA" since the playoffs while LeBron has been demoted to "top 3 or 5" status by the cognoscenti.

LeBron is fueled by a ton of motivation right now, not unlike when everybody was ready to bury him with the emergence of Curry.
