Suggs expected to miss 4 weeks

Lee Suggs' string of bad luck has continued.
Suggs fractured his right thumb in last Sunday's win over the Bears and is expected to miss approximately four weeks of action.
Suggs had two small screws inserted into the thumb late Monday night at The Cleveland Clinic.
Suggs played a limited role in the last two games, recording two receptions for 7 yards and one special teams tackle. He missed the first two games of the season due to a high ankle sprain suffered in a mid-August training camp practice.
Missing that time cost Suggs a chance to win the starting running back's job after he closed the 2004 season with three straight 100-yard rushing performances.
In three professional seasons, Suggs has never been healthy for the Browns' season opener. In 19 career games (three starts), Suggs has run for 1,033 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 4.1 yards per carry. He's also caught 24 passes for 185 yards and one touchdown.
STILL HOSPITALIZED-Rookie wide receiver Braylon Edwards will remain at The Cleveland Clinic overnight and continue to receive antibiotics following a procedure late Saturday to remove an infection from his right arm.
Edwards will be re-evaluated on Wednesday by the Browns medical staff. His status for Sunday's game in Baltimore has yet to be determined.
The Browns will release their first official injury report of the week following Wednesday's practice.
