I have always believed in the potential of a Schwartz.

He was chosen (by the Browns) for a reason.

I still believe in Schwartz's potential. I've seen enough clips of him getting separation deep that I believe he could still develop into something. We just didn't seem to take a lot of deep shots this year. And I'm sure Baker lost trust in him after his rough start to the year.

I think it's hard to give a roster spot to a player that doesn't preform and wait for him to develop with how Berry have constructed this WR group and how Stefanski uses all of them. This team typically goes deep into the depth with the skill positions on offense even when healthy. Keeping a spot for someone like Schwartz next season will mean taking away a roster spot from another position group. They will need to bring in a deep threat to actually play and help stretch the field if Schwartz doesn't take a big step in development over the off-season.

He should definitely jump ship. I’m guessing that he keeps getting passed over because people think Reid is still pulling the strings with the offense.
