Let It All Out. The Cavaliers Hype Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I remember trying to get the games on WUAB 43 back then,,,talk about a challenge. That little antenna sticking out of the back of the black and white tv
had to be in the perfect spot to actually see the images of actual basketball players on the court. We watched it anyway.
And these guys complain about streams,,,LOL
Me too. Mostly all snow on tv. Lol.

I used to try to get the games down at OU via 1100 up in Cleveland. There were no local stations that ran the cavs radio network, so it was up to the whims of weather and the AM gods as to how bad the sound was. I generally had to have my ear right up to the radio speaker the whole time so I could barely make out Joe Tate's voice. Those were desperate times - listening like that and rooting that Danny Ferry would turn out to be anything good at all.

People talk about bad contracts and bad trades - you look at what we paid Danny Ferry and what we gave up for him …

that loss last night still pisses me off.
but I have realized that I have not been as hype to see this team play since at least the summer of 2014... or even the fall of 2003 (when I moved here). I've been a Cavs fan since the times of Daugherty, Price, and Co. Where I lived I'd get to see them every now and then before then.

almost 2 decades here, got to see both tours of LeBron and the not-so-good parts in between. This is finally a difference. I feel like this team can get back to "Richfield" days again with the right moves.

Remember the 2017-18 when the entire regular season didn’t mean shit because we knew we’d get to the playoffs and LeBron didn’t care about seeding or playing D? It was painful watching those games.

This season it feels like every game is important. It‘s like having a very young child - afraid you might miss a milestone one day when you’re out. It’s exciting to see this team develop and we know every win matters because making the playoffs would be awesome and we’ve had too many seasons where we missed by a game or two (1974-75, 2004-5 for example). But we’re in such a better place than last season primarily due to Mobley.
