Let it all out. The OSU Football rant thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Disappointed by the loss but I hope this is a motivation moving forward.

1 item I am happy that is over is the constant reminders that "Ryan Day is undefeated in the Big Ten" as tOSU head coach..

We need to fix this defense. With the talent we have it is crazy how much we suck.

I’ll start.

I’m sick of the pussy ass defense this team has had for the last 3-4 years. Play like a bunch of bitches.
Well 2019 had one of the best defenses in OSU history. Unfortunate that Hafley was so good he got Power 5 offers after that one year.

Otherwise, I agree. 2018, 2020, 2021 were all inexcusably bad. Even 2017 was mediocre as hell.

OSU is a shitty Big 12 team right now until something changes on defense.

So is that like a Texas tech or closer to an Oklahoma state?

Mind blowing you guys have a rant thread for going 10-2. Thats a fantastic season.

As a UC fan since I went to school in the Dantonio days, I was reflective of how frustrated I was with UC beating the spread ever second of the second half against ECU and winning by three scores. Any other year I’d be ecstatic with that outcome.

The CFP really ruins the game.

It's more losing to Michigan the way they did than the record. 11-2 could be a good season, but never with a loss to Michigan.

The fan base is a bit spoiled, but this team didn't play up to their level of talent.

So sick of rant threads in football. You guys are pussies. Get a little perspective.

The offensive line is full of NFL tackles, but they play soft as hell and are look like idiots whenever anyone stunts. The OLine is supposed to be the bedrock of Ohio State, and they played like primadonnas.

Our best linebacker is a converted backup running back. WTF.

We have the best d line coach in CFB history, and multiple 5 stars and cannot get any pressure EVEN WHEN WE BLITZ.

Our head coach talks about scoring 100 pts, when his offense can't run the ball to score inside the 5 yardline.

This program is soft and entitled right now.

I agree with you to a point on the CFP ruining the game. A couple weeks ago many OSU homers in here were rooting for Michigan to beat Penn State to “boost Ohio State’s resume”. What they were missing, or just didn’t care about, was that a second Michigan loss basically guaranteed Ohio State to win the division and go to the B1G Championship. A loss today would’ve surely taken away CFP hopes but they still could’ve played for a conference title. I guess those don’t mean anything anymore though..

The CFP's current format ruins the game.

If it was opened up to 12-16 teams, then 10-2 could start to feel like a solid season again.

But also it's REALLY Alabama ruining college football lol. There's never been a team dominate like this so then if you aren't living up to that it feels like you're falling short.
