Kareem Hunt: One Pissed Off Runner!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I've never had my car searched for a routine speeding ticket.

This self-proclaimed 'biggest Browns fan ever' cop went out of his way to get the kid in more trouble than he had to, and it's not surprising in the least. Letting him off on the weed ticket does nothing when those details are captured in the police report.

Kareem is dumb. So are many athletes. He shoulders blame here. But weed is nowhere near assault despite Roger Goodell's opinion.

Drug test incoming, repercussions to follow. Won't be surprised if he's gone.

If the NFLPA is smart they would get rid of weed testing and punishment in the next CBA. At this point no one should be suspended for it.

The current NFL policy on marijuana which isn't as harsh as I thought it was.

"Under the NFL's current CBA, which was signed in 2011, a first positive test for marijuana lands a player in the substance abuse program without a suspension, while a second positive test results in a two-game fine and a third positive test produces a four-game fine.

A player isn't suspended until his fourth positive test, which results in a four-game ban, with a fifth positive test leading to a 10-game suspension. Any positive test following a 10-game suspension can result in banishment, with the player possessing the ability to apply for reinstatement after one year."

Hold on, am I missing something?

Dude had an open container in the car?

In a book bag in the back seat.

Watch the video.

Nah, I'm good on watching the video. Usually just read transcripts because I cannot hear shit in those videos.

Whatever. Release him, don't release him, I'm fairly confident he will flush his career down the drain at some point. I'm not holding my breath that, even if he does get through this, he's a long term solution to the team.

An open container can be a bottle that the seal has been broken. If it was in arm's reach of the driver or passenger then they can both be charged for it. My guess if it's in the book bag and in the backseat, they wouldn't bother charging him because it would get throw out fairly quickly.

If the Browns had never subsidized the stadium renovations, none of this would have ever happened!

Yeah... not a good look

Jesus Kareem Hunt doesn't even know how to get apprehended correctly. Don't say shit about any drug tests man even if they ask if you're under the influence of something.

Shouldn't he have an attorney on speed dial by now to walk him through these things especially if he's going to continue to be a dumbass. You can get away with being a dumbass in this league pretty easily.

Good riddance.

Quite the assumption of affluence for a guy who had almost no support system growing-up. He should be smarter, yes, but let's not pretend that rational logic was something he was being taught on a daily basis...

The video's a good quality police dashcam, and Kareem is in the back seat of the officer's car speaking for most of the video with very clear audio.

The dude sounds messed up mentally--just a wreck. It's heartbreaking and I hope he continues to get help.

Open bottle of vodka in a backpack in the back seat shouldn't be a big deal.

The weed in the car shouldn't be either, but in today's era, it still is for some reason.

Complete opinion here, but he doesn't sound like someone sober or stable.

The weed in the car shouldn’t be? Driving under the influence of anything should always be a big deal.
