Kareem Hunt: One Pissed Off Runner!

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ive been told (maybe someone else can confirm) is that pro sports leagues have an Uber like service in most major cities (especially ones with a local team) that they can call on whenever. When in season, it can be used for family as well.

Ive heard the same thing but I think it's more like a black car service than Uber. My guess is they just have contracts with black car services throughout the country.

From people that I know that use black cars for work, they are great when you can pre-schedule them. The problem is if it's a weird hour or something unexpected happens, sometimes they don't have a car available to get you. Unlike Uber they have to pay their driver's while they are waiting so they aren't going to keep drivers on demand just for the random call that come in once in a blue moon.

If you google "Nick Chubb pulled over" the Kareem Hunt story comes up. Has to be Calloway.

Nick has been a saint to my knowledge.

I googled Nick Chubb and various possession related terms and all that came up was that a few of his teammates got in trouble for something similar while he was at Georgia but he didn't appear to be involved in any way.

Chubb doesn't exactly strike me as the type of guy who gets himself in much trouble.

You mean, even though it could be just a minuscule amount of weed, he still doesn’t risk his livelihood? That’s called a law abiding citizen.

The problem is that players don't want to call mgt for a ride home when they're drunk or high. Just like any other thinking person. But they surely make enough to hire their own ride. These are young guys, still a lot of kid in them. It's hardly surprising they do a lot of dumb shit. Just like most of us at that age. I don't think I was ever that dumb with a cop, though.

The weed means almost nothing these days but in his context it's going to be an issue. It'll be legalized soon so we can move on from all that.
He must of been high though to admit he "wouldn't pass a test" to the cop. WTF, how stupid does one have to be?
I'd like to keep him, cut him another break. But if they do cut him the stupid admission will be enough reason in my mind and I can live with it.

He didn’t get in trouble because of who he is. Period.
Marijuana is still illegal and a bad thing to have on you given the suspension this past season.
Idiot
To be fair, Cleveland PD has effectively stopped enforcing any laws regarding small amounts of weed. It's a net loss for them.
A weekend night in summer, you walk down W 6th, that entire street reeks of the stuff

Man someone needs to check on Kareem. Seriously can’t imagine how he’s feeling right now.

Is it wrong that the whole, "Boo hoo it's tough watching my former team have success and wishing I could be with them" BS from Kareem was just as bad to me as the police incident?

Bump worthy performance.

Absolutely great catch you dont expect your running back to make. Sucks that Baker wasnt able to get just a bit more touch on the ball (clearly not his fault), or Hunt didnt realize how close to the sideline he was (clearly he had better things to worry about). I think Hunt's left foot was only out by a couple of inches when he stood up. He doesnt step out and he scores.
